Glad the new contract should bring you out at least even, i'm sure you'll find the work, you certainly don't like sitting around doing nothing

Am i right to be throwing money at them to try to get them down or would i be better off saving money and utilising the to make settlement offers?
I'm not interested in partial settlements just full and finals where the debt is satisfied and that is that.
any one got any thoughts?
You would be best off saving as much as you can and going down the F&F route. Give it to your mum as dual-purpose emergency money. Do *not* under any circumstances even hint to the OH as to its existence.

Just been bisy with work etc & swam yesterday so was shattered...have decided that I'm nt oing to the London meet though as just cant afford it & while I'd love to go I just know the whole thing would cost a bomb so have(after much umming & ahhing!) decided to give it a miss. Am dissapointed but feel its the right thing to do...plus with teh work year (April -31mch) I will be off alot between now & then so in work terms will need to get my head down for a bit...sure there wil be others though....Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1!
