Goodness Pania, what on earth do you have to do to prove you are trustable??

You are probably more financially savvy than anyone else who works there by now.

I hope the new structure works in your favour.

Clubcard thingy looks good - I probably spend about £40-50 a month there so not loads but double points would always be handy. Thanks for the info x

I've just had a quick look at flights and it would be about £2500 for us all to fly to NZ in May. Might have to put it off for another couple of years. :o

is worth looking at the last minute deals, usually much cheaper. set up a change jar and you never know;) May is on hold for me indefinately until i have decided about here.
Well i have done some working out on what i am earning now and what i will be earning and it seems to be pretty much equal, good thing that seems is that i will have more guaranteed each month instead of being desperate for the mileage. I have been told that i should expect to travel long distances as there is no immediate work on my doorstep but if i said £150 mileage per month then that will all cover my outgoings and any commission will be extras.

Now After a conversation that i had today I am not sure that I have my priorities in the right place.
The vast majority of my debt will be frozen or no interest,
Am i right to be throwing money at them to try to get them down or would i be better off saving money and utilising the to make settlement offers?
I'm not interested in partial settlements just full and finals where the debt is satisfied and that is that.
any one got any thoughts? :o:confused:

re: your priorities, the dfw ones -
I today read an article by Martin about getting rid of card debts in one go, starting with the highest interest ones first. He is CATEGORIC about NOT paying off in bits across the Board.
I have no expertise in this area, but can you(esp. as you say most debts are frozen/no interest)sort them thus with cackiest on top. Then swat one away at a time?
You need to read Martin on this.
I'll find it later but have to go out now.
But not before I add this chapi64690261_78122.gif

If you could do it with full and finals, that would be a good way of reducing the total amount you pay back, surely?

My debt is all interest bearing, so I obviously go on the "pay everything across the board, thing" but I do go by the snowball calculator.

If I were you, I would pay your minimums and save up for full and finals.......BUT ONLY IF YOU KNOW YOU WILL NOT BE TEMPTED TO DIP INTO THAT MONEY FOR ANYTHING ELSE IN THE MEANTIME.....

mine is either zero percent or loans on fixed rates which i don't think i can over pay. I do have an overdraft which i'm trying to reduce by £20 a month, unfortunately they will only drop it by £50 amounts so i have to be very good and make sure i don't spend the money whilst i'm waiting to get to the £50 mark.

Glad the new contract should bring you out at least even, i'm sure you'll find the work, you certainly don't like sitting around doing nothing
