OK, trying not to get too excited about this one, preparing to invest in hypno's "if the cheque arrives i'll believe it" theory but i have just closed another spreadbetting account that i opened on a free offer 6 months ago and have been told i will be sent a cheque for £150 :j

I am soooo trying to keep the excitement within...just incase it doesn't turn up, but oooh won't it be lovely if it does... £950 off my debt this month:j

oh, and i actually have an accurate debt total now, so no more bungeeing debts. much better for the motivation and i know exactly where i stand now.
    so... current debt total. £26711.29

off to update sig, a slight increase but that is it now, I'm there. accurate and up to date and set to snowball...

(oh and got another mystery shop for tomorrow in same place as other... another £9 to the total!!! things appear to be going my way for once.

Just had an argument with OH ont phone, got a red bill from the leccy co this am and i thought he'd been paying it by DD for the last month, transpires he's not set it up so we are behind with pavements, put the responsibility for paying/renegotiating DD squarely back at his door but do you know what, I couldn't care less... I'm in a good moooooood!!!!!! ;)

Live in Melbourne for a year or 2,
See more of Scotland... I've never even made it to Skye!!:o
Go back to Prague (and not get salmonella on the 1st night again  ... )
Go to Canada, south America, more of Africa, India, Tibet, SE Asia again... anywhere really!! :p

Oh and definitely go back to Morocco again... went there last year and loved it!! V MSE getting there (less than a £100 for flights inc flights down to London) and Riad (traditional style courtyard building) accomodation was cheap and so pretty too... it was fab though next time I'm taking a compass! :rotfl: We got sooooooooooo lost in Marrakech old town and couldn't find our way back to our hotel on the 1st night there! :o

    Hope you're well taka!! :)
Skye is very pretty - spent a week there a few years ago.. blimey the rain and the midges though

On the travel front, I recently signed up to British Midland loyalty card as they were giving away so many points when you joined, just had some more points for a survey they sent me, and at the same time got signed up to yet another survey site which pays in their points... be very handy if I get a decent amount from it!

Great news on the cheque P :T

    Hello P!

Your thread has been filling my head with travel plans today. Hubby isn't bothered for going to new places and seeing new things, but I get serious cabin fever in our little town, where everyone knows everyone, and nothing ever changes.

Ampersand, are you French? (sorry if that is a silly question)

I love France too - I dragged hubby to Brittany a few years ago and he actually loved it. We went back the following year, but haven't been able to afford it since. I'm really hoping we can take our folding camper there next year (although will have to look up the French word for 'folding camper' first...lol!).

I would love to go to New Zealand, Canada, Norway....loads of places really.

I also had a fabulous couple of weeks in Munich as a teenager, and would love to go back there again some day.

*Sigh* Where's that lottery ticket?
