I don't drink enough water especially in the winter.
Morning all.
Going to read through the thread for some meal inspiration......Galia melon 99p in Lidl.
I've been eating loads of fruit especially strawberries.
I also really enjoy tinned grapefruit, hope that's not too bad? You're right, of course. It's a bit like driving after you've taken your test : little cheats creep in.
I meant those slimline tonics with a hint of lime or lemon. I thought they were mostly free??
No, it was just a SP lunch. I can rarely manage more than a meal. I think I'm better off having carbs with meals than getting hungry and snacking. I have a few 'go to' meals like cottage pie but that's about it. Although bubbs manages brilliantly by filling her plate with veg. :T

Evening all! As usual it's great to see so much positive support on here.
I had an sts this week, but next week will be a different story as I've been eating rubbish for Scotland! DH and I were out all day Monday, so it was lunch, afternoon snack & tea out. Than on Wednesday we had tea out again as we were off to see Hugh Jackman. BTW, if anyone on here has tickets, you're in for a fantastic evening (no spoilers from me). I wish I was going again! It more than made up for that aberration of a football team that dropped to the lowest level in 40 years (can you tell I'm still angry) Only about 7 players left and board members going too.
bubbs, I love that Wednesday fruity thing.

Forgot to post this yesterday but plan was:
B Fat free yoghurt and muesli (HeB)
L Pasta, red onion, tomato, jarred peppers, rocket, Danish blue cheese (HeA 1)
D braised steak in ale (1.5), mash, broccoli
Snacks apple, blue cheese on 2 crackers (HeA 2 and 2 Syns), beer (11)
I do tend to use my Syns weekly so today's plan involves a number of beer Syns which will be balanced out by having less fhrough the week. I know it's not the way you should do it but it's worked for me.
Today:
B and L as yesterday
D pub meal
S apple, beer syns0 -
Vixstar a lot of us use a weekly syn allowance. I've done it more or less all the time I've been doing SW. You might get bigger losses if you stick to the 15 a day (I certainly do when I do it properly! - I usually lose 1.5lb then) whereas most of the time I only lose 0.5 or very occasional 1lb.
Today's plan is very eggy (unless of course I change it as DH refused breakfast this morning and just had toast 'cos he's had enough eggs!)
B - bacon & mushroom omelette
L - LO quiche & salad (but might change it to something else!) and use the quiche to snack on as DH isn't particularly keen on it without the pastry case, LOL!
D - Green masala chicken curry (from freezer) with rice. Will need to calm the curry down as it was very hot so probably need to add some yoghurt or maybe Fromage Frais. Will also make a raita
HEA - milk in drinks
HEB - may change lunch to Ryvita & hummus (which needs using up!)
Syns - not sure yet but may have a couple of G&Ts

It’’s into the valley of doom for me now! Just on way to WI and not hopeful. The week started off badly but I got back on track by mid week. I feel fat though today. I hate that feeling.:(0
