    Afternoon everyone.

    Well done losers, chin(s) up gainers! (Just joking).

    Booked a family holiday yesterday for mid August so I really need to be on my game or my holiday/summer clothes (still languishing under a bed on account of the lack of summer weather) will not fit me, and I can't be buying more as the holiday cost so much!

    Today's menu
    B Oat pancake with strawberries, 0% fat yoghurt and Sweet freedom syrup
    L Omelette with mushrooms, toms etc
    D At Dds - will be a roast dinner so not too bad syn wise.

    Sary, that video sounds interesting, I might have a go at that. My SIL has been advised by GP to do an alternate days total fast diet, (she can drink water) so I suppose that's the same principal. That's a bit hardcore for me - I wouldn't be responsible for my actions if I hadn't eaten for 24 hours! She's finding it less onerous than she thought.

    Have a good Sunday all.
    That really made me:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    Any suggestions please? Got to get an emergency gp appointment tomorrow as I think I have gout :eek: I have never felt such pain, so painful to walk, broken sleep, don't want to eat. So will make egg muffins later, but not sure what else I can cook that will be flavoursome but can be cooked in the oven as I can't stand too long. Got some chicken thighs, lots of speed, but also want to avoid carbs if possible, especially as I am taking super strength ibuprofen until I see doctor?

    What about turning the thighs into a tray bake, with roasted veg?, bit warm but a casserole?
    Sorry you are in pain:(:( hope you get it sorted quickly, my mum had got in her thumb!!

    Me and bubbs will be there tomorrow at 7 ish....... looking forward to our meal! x

    Anytime, you'd be most welcome! :beer:

    Denise you've got so much going, try to stay on plan as much as you can but don't stress, make getting better your first priority. Hope all gets sorted soon.

    Gettingtherequickly wishing you a fast recovery and free from pain.

    So far I've stayed on plan but with 3 syns (2 for yogurt for breakfast, 1 for spray oil with my eggs for lunch).

    Still hoping to stay within 15 syns by using the 2 HEX A for parmesan (I like lots of it in risotto) and synning oil for risotto base (mushrooms and peas) and a drizzle on the salad too.
    Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).
