  • A very happy bunny! - 1 1/2lb for me this week, that is the most I have lost in one week this year, long may it continue!

Well done on other losses, especially as the weather is so miserable, more inclined to eat winter food.

Going to a barbecue on Sunday, hopefully the weather will be ok, if not, don't know what they will do as it is a celebration party. Been told I don't need to take anything with me, but that is against my religion. Currently contemplating making and freezing fruit kebabs tomorrow (speed of course!), which I am sure the kids will enjoy also, but other suggestions welcome:D
A smile costs little but creates much :)

Good to see your posting again Stoke. You have all week to weigh if you can't get to your usual group. Hopefully there will be another group you can get to if you can't go tomorrow.

Well done GTQ - that's the most I've ever lost in a week! Most weeks it was only half with the occasional lb!

Hi everyone. I'm still around and plodding along (a bit of an upward trend of late but still in range)
CATERINA, I understand that WOMAN magazine will have a joining voucher next week but I don't think it is out untill Tuesday.
I've had some very wet and short dog walks this week so I am keeping my fingers crossed that the weather will change soon as if I'm out walking I'm not eating.
I bought some toasted marshmallow coffee syrup in TK Maxx and have had it this morning in my overnight oats. It's really nice and just a bit different.
I've also picked up the PON meal planner book in the supermarket and I'm going to use it as it is a 26 week planner so it will se me untill the end of the year. I started it today! I hope it will encourage me to write, plan and drink more. It will also keep me accountable for my trip to South Africa in Autumn.
So our dinner tonight is cottage pie, peas and green beans. It has a couple of syns in it for gravy granules and a bit of butter in the mash.
I love the extra Hea of cheese but I find that if I have it regularly I stay the same. Fine if you are at target but if you are losing I'd Syn what I have. Most people say the same at my class - all the loser are just having 1 because having tried it since the new year it isn't going too well. I do however think that complacency sets in and we don't measure after a while and then we having more than we should. I am definitely guilty of it!
Right, it's dry so I'm off up the woods with the dogs.

Afternoon all. Finally stopped raining here which can only be a good thing however temporary.

Welcome back to those who have been away a while - good to see you all again.

Fab losses Schoolworker and GTQ. That would be a very good loss for me, GTQ, I'm of the tortoise persuasion even when I don't cheat! More of which later......

My scales seem to be a bit out, may need a new battery. I always weigh first thing, no clothes, and in the same spot in the bathroom. When I weighed this am, I had lost loads (for me) then couldn't believe it and got on again after a coffee - 3/4 lb more! so I'll go for the higher of the two weights for this week and claim a loss of 1.25lb which is perfectly respectable.

    Today's menu:
B 2 fresh apricots, banana and Alpen Light
L Left over veg curry and rice
snack - 3 mini doughnuts - I have a note from the year 11s who finished exams today....that's the cheat! Goodness knows the syns....
D HM pizza made with bread mix for the base with salad and maybe a few chips

Wishing you all a good weekend.

Thank you Denise for looking, I think they must have discontinued that line, shame because it was gorgeous, fruity, 0% and no artificial sweeteners.and Free.

Matron Midge thanks for the tip, will look out for it!
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

Caterina is it worth emailing them and asking why they've discontinued? I did that to Danone because I was able to buy the little cubes of cheese with different flavours in France but not here and they said they had no plans to bring them out in the UK but a couple of months later they started doing them here. Definitely worth a try!

Looking good as usual Bubbs. Enjoy tomorrow's theatre and meal. Good luck on losing enough to get to bottom end of target before you op on 10 July.
