Well done on your losses TTD and sirens.:T:T

Have a good time at the party TTD, relax and enjoy. :)

That pasta dish sounds very tasty denise. let us know how it goes.:) I saw a recipe (I think in Asda magazine) which was cod wrapped in bacon baked on a bed of courgettes and leeks. The veg had a bit of lemon and some pesto. I plan to try it when I get back. I've bought some low fat pesto ready.

I had an off plan sort of day yesterday. Breakfast was fine (Weetabix and strawberries) but then we went out for lunch. I decided to have prawn & avocado started followed by battered fish and chips. Haven't had that in an age so decided to treat myself. It'll end up added to the anticipated holiday gain.;)

    Back on plan today.
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB porage with HEA milk, half banana
    L: Pret salade Nicoise
D: HM pork burger, fried onions, SW chips, tomato, mushroom, asparagus, mange tout
Syns: 3? for a drizzle of vinaigrette, wine wyns:D

The pasta dish was very tasty. Didn't get the salmon in the end as it was so expensive - 5 euros for a small piece:eek:. To be honest the dish was tasty enough as it was so certainly didn't miss the salmon.

The cod dish sounds good too. Where did you get the low fat pesto? I'd like to try that dish too.

Staying alcohol free today as have been drinking most days so feel it is needed!

    Have a great weekend everyone.

Good luck with your alcohol free evening Denise .:D

The low fat pesto is Sainsburys own brand but Sacla do it too. As well as the Asda recipe (it's on the website) I thought it would be good stirred through pasta. Glad you enjoyed your pasta dish, so that's another to try. to the price of salmon. France has got far more expensive in the past few years. I suppose it's the B word. :(

I'm actually in Belgium at the moment and food is even more expensive than France:T. I actually menu planned for this week which I don't usually do when on holiday in order not to spend more than necessary on food:money:.

Stuck to water and squash last night and had a coffee at lunchtime when DH had a beer.

Not too sure if we are going anywhere today as it is so windy but hopefully it will calm down a bit later.

Morning all! I have lots of good news to share!

WI this morning with 1.5lbs loss, FINALLY got my stone award! :j I've been completing the Jillian Michaels Beginner Shred all week and I think that has really helped, in spite of challenges like birthday buffets at work :o

And my other good news is I interviewed for a new job and I got it!! Something I almost didn't apply for because I found out a colleague had applied, but gave myself a talking-to about putting myself first (her job is permanent, mine temporary) and so glad I listened to my heart! New job is in a different dept of the same organisation, sounds v interesting and the team and boss seem really friendly, it's a bit more money and responsibility, and it's permanent! Honestly my self-worth has gone through the roof, you have no idea how many unsuccessful interviews I've had over the last couple of years and my work situation has been precarious and/or unhappy since 2013, and it really has an impact on your overall mood. So happy!

Final week of my holiday and am looking forward to some fresh and frozen vag!

Pardon?! Is that syn-free?? (Sorry for lowering the tone :o)
Any suggestions on how to deal with bloated/full feeling? I feel as if I am permanently bloated, although the quantity of food I am eating is not the cause. Decided yesterday not to eat breakfast until I actually felt hungry, that was lunch time, had 4 ryvita, with Philadelphia light & tomatoes & felt really full, had dinner at my friends yesterday evening, rice with beef strips & veg and still feel full?

I wish I could identify with this, I'm always hungry :o

I have a wedding to go to tomorrow:eek::eek:

I'm off to watch a marathon on the top if the Dales :( Agreed to it ages ago and had visions of sitting outside a pub in glorious sunshine sipping on a chilled white wine ... the reality is going to be grim especially as I've ended up bliddy driving so can't even numb the pain with alcohol. Have fun at the wedding Bubbs!

Lots of consistent losses coming in from everyone - well done! Hope you'll all be staying warm and dry today unlike me :(

Fingers crossed something happens PDQ tie. do you have to move up to a new year group with him in September?

Not sure of my meals today yet. As it's only a few days before my holiday:D I need to do a careful meal plan to make sure I don't have fresh stuff left when we go away.

    I'll report back later. :)
