Today started so well, but gradually clouded over and got cooler. In the end it started spitting with rain! Left the BBQ (and OH) to do its thing and 8 hours later we had melt-in-the-mouth beef, it was delicious! But we ate it indoors ;). With coleslaw, thx bubbs, and beetroot salad for speed :).

Are you in Bucks? think i may have asked you before? but got head like a sieve :o did you like the coleslaw?
Btw I am always reading online and willing to try new recipes to keep things interesting. There is my local SW fb group where we share pix and ideas, but for those of you using Instagram, there are loads of people on there sharing their SW meals and ideas. I have started following s_w_vicky, and made some of her little cakes using my HEb of 7 little Shredded Wheat Bitesize, blitzed with 2 eggs, grated carrot, cinnamon, sweetener, baking powder, from frais. 18 mins in the airfryer @ 180C and hey presto, 4 little cakes. She has lots of recipes like that, some using weetabix, or even baked cheesecake using hifi bars for the base. Just thought I would mention it in case others like trying new things too :o.

Yes I am in Bucks, south of HW :rotfl:. Coleslaw was lovely, second time I made it. And s_w_vicky has lost 6st in 12 months so far, as far as I can tell.

I ended up getting Insta to keep up with stuff kids are into, but there is so much out there, loads of things of interest. Try it out!.

Interesting. :) I often wonder where MY SW virtual friends are in the country.

I know Kettering a little. I have an uncle in Rothwell. Some of my family moved out of London to work in Corby when companies were relocated.

Thouroughly enjoyed my roast tonight as I do every Sunday. :D

    Afternoon

We drove through outskirts of Northampton & Kettering (used to love the Wicksteed park there when the kids were little) on Saturday on our way back home from Rugby. I'm in S.Lincs.

Lunch on Saturday involved me being attacked by a scone with jam and clotted cream, which insisted I couldn't leave until I had eaten it. Well that's the story I'm sticking to for now anyway :rotfl:

    Meal plan today:
    B - porridge HEB, water/milk from HEA, sugar (2)
L - tuna, pasta salad with lettuce, carrot, cucumber, sweetcorn, mayo (3) & nectarine
D - chicken stir fry with noodles - allowing (2) for any seasoning I may add apart from soy sauce

Catch up with you all again later
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home

That's spooky sary. I was only thinking about Wicksteed Park earler. When I was a child my dad used to work in the area (Irthlingborough) for a couple of weeks every year when one of his managers was on leave. While he was working we used to go to the park day after day. It must have had every swing ever invented. Sheer heaven for children. :)

I was thinking yesterday how well you'd done to get such a great loss.:T Do you think it's easier to follow the plan when you're off school?:)

I'm back on plan 100% today.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB porage with HEA1 milk, half banana, skinny syrup
L: ham, LO fried veg, beetroot
D: SW Bolognese, tagliatelle. HEA2 Parmesan
    Syns: NONE!!:D
