    Hello
Another 1lb loss this week. Its good to lose 1lb, but I know I could do better. I'm going to try for 2lb losses. I was so tempted to buy a pizza yesterday with garlic bread but I didn't.
    Great meal plans being posted!

Sorry but it made me laugh when I read it :D
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:argh well dang it, this is why don't type on the phone very often, as the phone is more dyslexic than I am and the combo of both me and machine makes things worse.

To top it off I had dental work done a few years ago to save my bottom teeth, an apple just ripped it all out and im left with wobbly teeth and big gaping holes, the price back then to repair these teeth was in the four figures, I was working then and could afford it, now though i hope i don't have to get a loan.

    Afternoon gang,

Have just has a sneaky catch up on the thread at work. Life has been hectic this week (again!), and out tonight and Saturday too.

Reporting a very welcome -2.5 this week, so that's the 1lb gain lost, plus an extra 1.5:j I am a little bit surprised by the loss, as I cannot think that I have been extra strict with myself with syns, or changed much of what I've eaten? Nonetheless, I will take it!! Only 1.3lbs to go to slip into another stone bracket, and 2 stone lost since January *fingers crossed*

Interesting reading about your target setting. I am only 5' 1" (on a good day with a stretched neck) so my suggested healthy BMI target range would mean I still have 2 stone to lose to be at the top end. I'm currently a size 16, having dropped from a 20 at the beginning of the year. Ideally I would like to be a size 12, so I guess 2 more stone would have me in about that range? I would like to be at target by the end of next year - that's the plan.

    Meal plan today:
    B - banana & 0% passion fruit kvarg (1.5)
L - veg rice with Korean chicken breast, mixed leaves salad, peppers, carrot & dressing (2)
D - this could change but for now - hm burgers, sw chips & mixed salad with dressing/ketchup (2).

I want to nip to the DIY store after work, and if I get back too late to prepare the hm burgers, it could end up being a ping SW meal, which is free anyhoo.

Out at a friends tomorrow daytime, so no idea what lunch will end up being - makes me a bit twitchy, as I prefer to be in control. Also out next weekend, but may be able to peruse a menu beforehand as the venue has just been booked. I may also syn save all week in the run up. I know life has to be lived, but when you're out every week, it can undo all the good in just one day. I do have to work hard for every lb I lose, and I know from experience that once I get past the one and a half stone loss it gets much slower and harder, so it's going to be a long haul.

How does everyone else manage the unexpected, or uncontrollable meal out or social occasions?

    Afternoon all.

Well done Schoolworker, Missli and Sary, fabulous losses! Vegastare braised steak is a favourite here too. A regular Saturday lunch when I was a kid was braised steak with chips - my favourite dinner of the week.

Delighted with a loss of 2.25lb this week - I'm a 'slow' loser even when I do stick to SW 100% so that's good for me. Might actually make my target loss this challenge (for the first time.)

    Today's menu:
B Bran flakes berries yoghurt and honey
    Snack Alpen light
L Wrap (synned) with left over steak, onion and a bit of mustard mayo. Orange
D Chicken sausages (1 syn each) SW chips, veg and maybe a splash of gravy

I'm a bit 'migrainey' today which usually leads to carb cravings, hence the Alpen light and the wrap. I just have to go with it - fortunately I don't have many. Apparently this is a known feature as are some of my other weird symptoms pre headache. So I class it as medical need :rotfl:

    Have a good day.

Morning all - reporting a 1.5lb loss by some miracle no idea how that happened after the bank holiday weekend and then struggling to stay on plan. I'm still half a pound off my stone award though!! Game face on, plan is to get that bliddy stone award next week, and get into the next stone bracket the week after.

Really trying not to beat myself up that it's taken me almost half a year to lose one stone, it's been in the right direction and the most consistent I've been so I'm focusing on that.

I found a low impact version of the 30 Day Shred so I started that this morning, it's perfect for my dodgy ankles and feet as there's no jumping jacks or anything. Hopefully that'll help me tone up a bit, as my big white belly looks like a depressed blobfish.

Welcome to the newbies joining us and well done to the losers! Thanks as always to Chris for keeping us right. Have a great weekend everyone! xx

Good morning losers :A including myself with a gobsmacking 5.5lb :eek:

Ok confession time :o I have been getting more demoralised with the (lack of) weight loss putting it down to time of life :o so as I’ve been off work I did 5 days of Dr Moselys Fast 800 (surprisingly easy) which has at least let me know I can lose the weight :D.
Will probably put it back on with homemade lasagne today though :rotfl:
Don’t think I could keep it up when back at work so will try 5-2 for a bit and see what happens! I’m back within touching distance of target too so dont feel such a fraud being on the target list :p

Just to say technically still following SW just smaller portions :D

Have a good weekend all and enjoy the sun (if you have it) :A
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
    Keep the Faith All

probably the best week I have ever had and what do I do? Gain a flipping pound!:(

Drank loads of water and sugar free juice this week, cut right back on syns, ate loads of speed food and even went to an exercise class yesterday.

i honestly don’t know what more I can do. Went to WI all confident that I would lose something and then that!

Wow! what a lot of losses since I posted yesterday. Missli, sary, tete, esmy and tie!! So pleased for you all.:T:T:T:T:T

Interesting that you've now proved that you can lose weight tie. I think you're right that 'crash' diets have their place but won't be sustainable like SW.

Try not to feel too down penny. It will come right eventually. :A

As I know I won't be going to WI until after my holiday I'm having a bit of leeway. I made cauliflower cheese for the first time in months, years even, last night. I had a cauliflower to use up and I know DH loves it. I made it without butter/marg but probably more cheese and milk than I had in HEAs for the day. Shame you can't carry them across.:(

I made soup from the gammon stock this morning although hardly soup weather. Too late I realised I didn't have any lentils just soup mix so it was decidedly stodgy.

We're having a Sainsbury's chicken curry tonight from their own slimming brand. It'll be interesting to see how it differs from the Aldi Slimwell. The estimator says 1.5 syns for the complete pack which we'll share.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, 2 fried eggs, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
    L: 'lentil' and veg soup
D: chicken curry with SW chips and extra veg (mushrooms)
Syns: HP sauce 1, weekend wine:j
    ETA :0.75 syns for curry:eek:
