Morning all :hello: ziggy post any and all of your woes away on here. That’s absolutely what we’re here for. You’ve definitely been here for many of ours over the years, so no apology needed at all. Problem shared, problem halved and all that. Hope you are soon feeling less tired too.
My list for today:
Do a shopping list, if I have time pop to shop
Washing shuffle, won’t be going outside due to rain
Triage fridge and do next weeks meal plan based on that. Will do this before shop.
Paid £co money that’s landed in my 1p fund.
Need to send vibes to a couple of other £co payments that are overdue for payout
Check just for points cc
Aim for a run or long walk later
Working from home so no commute :j

Morning purps and Dawn

Today madam goes to the outlaws after school so I have until 7.30 *free* time - obvs it's not free as I will spend a big chunk doing chores! Will get some just for fun things in as well
* have taken pup for a walk at 7.30 and dropped him off at co-owners. He is going on holiday for 2 weeks
* load of washing in currently - madam's bedding and unavoidable. Might get it outside but forecast says light rain from 11
* coat of paint on lounge cupboards - will be finished by evening
* replace zip on a coat and remove collar from a shirt - paid for sewing
* listen to free podcasts while doing these ^
* go for ecg. Will walk to Drs
* possibly go to the allotment. Depends on the weather
* sand skirting boards, windowsill and door in lounge
* clean house
* put away mountain of washing - I have 3 loads to put away
* portion of soup for lunch not eaten yesterday
* make 3 x cushion slips

Good morning all!
I finally feel like my funk of the last few weeks might be lifting... fingers crossed!
Speaking of roadkill, my dad is the CHAMPION of it. He actually walks along the kerbside looking for it specially! I have seen him dig a 1p piece out of a muddy gutter in the pouring rain. He keeps all his roadkill in a special bag that he uses for paying onto buses etc. He is very obsessive over it (we think he's probably well on the autistic spectrum - not just due to this but he displays many other autistic traits).
Piddling down with rain here but it's my Saturday so I am slobbing around in my dressing gown and stretchy pants
OH is recording today so he's out all day and I can take things at my own pace.
Today's mission:
:heartpuls B/L/D from stores. Not sure what yet but lots in - done
:heartpuls Post up some crochet photos to page - done and getting a good response
:heartpuls Should crochet some baby blanket but am actually knitting a sock

Many thanks for everyone's good wishes but I have to say that I think everyone is inspirational on the thread.
We are all on different journeys and face difficult challenges along the way, but we keep fighting them.
Special mention to Ziggy. U definitely don't bring the thread down. I can relate to the tad difficult mum and my brother and I don't speak. When I went into hospital none of the family knew as it has been ripped apart by another family member with serious health issues and was a mess even before that.
I like that we are a big supportive thread and are always here for each other. Ziggy and everyone-u r the best
Spendy day yesterday, cat to the vets for 6 month check up.
After DawnW mentioned about chicken, I fancied some chicken casserole so that will be made today in the the SC
Popped along to a bestie's birthday celebrations, was really nice to have a catch up
Not sure what I will be doing today.
Need to do a kitchen tidy.
Pop out for cat litter only-don't need anything else
Youngest cat is currently trying to destroy the kitchen practising her hunting skills on box of weetabix!
Have checked banking and quidco
I have one work frog I need to deal with. I've asked for an extension but might start later
Youngest cat is now trying to destroy the house full stop!
One RM surveys to do
Have come to a standstill on decluttering, just bits and bobs at the minute-need the keep working on this.
That's about it from me, have a fab day everyone xDecluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Morning all,
I wonder is La E has had her new baby yet?? exciting times
Clf, glad you are feeling brighter today, enjoy your Saturday!
Ziggy, hope you are feeling brighter today too.
Ditty, I agree that getting some exercise is great physically and mentally, I really feel a difference if I can't get to my gym classes or out into the garden as I also find being outside in the sunlight has a big effect on my moods.
Seasons in the mist, well done on your find!
Dawn, sounds like you had a lovely (although unexpected) afternoon
Quite a boring list from me today but dh went away for work this morning and isn't due back til late tomorrow night so I'm just going to potter.
So far
* ys bread with eggs for breakfast
* ds2 to free school breakfast club
* refilled water bottle twice at the gym
* home via aldee as we needed milk, got the few other bits that were on the list too
To do
** check banking/update spreadsheet and email a copy back to myself Done
** wrap a gift using preloved paper for my FIL as we will see them at the weekend - birthday not until the summer but will save us on postage
** ring hospital to see if I can get ds2s bloods done at the same time as another appointment he has next week to save on fuel and time out of school for him. done, can be done same day but will involve a lengthy wait, but that will be better then going a different day/time
** my lunch will be leftovers chicken/mushroom pie filling and mash I enjoyed it more then last night for some reason!
** food tonight will be wraps I've taken out of the freezer with chicken and salad and I'll get some corn on the cobs out of the freezer to go with it too so nice, ds1 said it was like something he'd had in Mcd's a while ago but mine was better
** make boys lunches for tomorrow done
** make sure I've done everything important before kids come home as ds2 is having his National tests this week (we don't have sats tests here in Wales, the kids have annual tests from yr 2-yr 9 four papers English, welsh and two maths papers procedural and reasoning) he's been wanting lots of cuddles the last few days as hes been stressing about them
he's happier tonight, 2 down 2 to go.
Thats my start. Take care allSticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.

Hello again
Just realised I haven't posted a list :rotfl:
So far:
HG fruit with breakfast
Ordered prescription online
Usual morning kitchen clean up
Put bread maker on, making an olive and herb loaf to use up a lurking quarter jar of Lidls olives in the fridge! Now done, and it smells gorgeous!
Shopping in Mr S. Spent more than I had anticipated, but spend included 3 jars of the coffee I like at £1.50 off each jar, couldn't miss that! Also a few YS items, so not all bad.
Got rid of paper recycling in the facilities at the supermarket - we can put paper in our stupid kerbside recycling box with no lid (they don't fit tight, so blow away and get broken) but you can imagine what happens to waste paper then if it is windy - so it goes to the supermarket when I am going anyway
Paid window cleaner
Noted spends down in diary, ready for transfer to spreadsheet
Put shopping away
Now collapsed in a chair as I had to haul all the shopping round to the front as the window cleaner was faffing about at the back  Just remembered I am not supposed to lift / carry things  Oh well!
Still to do:
Check banks and update spreadsheet Done
Pay milk bill Done
Questionable soup from freezer for lunch -I remember it wasn't that nice when it went in. Hopefully it has improved :rotfl:Done, it was ok, not great, but quite edible, and it didn't get wasted :T
Pesto pasta and olive bread for dinner
Will be late, as the plumber is coming to fix the boiler at about 6 apparently  At least it won't take long to cook!
Sort out more stuff for sales unit tomorrow Not yet!
Coffee needed first!
Got outside for a few minutes between massive rain showers, picked some rhubarb and sowed some dill seed. Rhubarb now in freezer
Got stove alight now, as it is cold as well as wet
When on earth is it going to warm up a bit? 0 -
Good Afternoon everyone
Dawn - sounds like a wonderful afternoon, tad jealous - fancy adopting me? :rotfl:
Feeling so much brighter today following a great nights sleep (have only been to Pilates twice but both nights have slept great so may try a few moves each night before bed). Today we will:

Gym/Rehab - Done
Purge a few emails -
Enter a few comps -
Swagbucks (easy Swago Board available)
All meals from cupboards/fridge/freezer
Checked: Lucky Bob, PMP, WinaDinner -
