    Morning folks!

Weather grim here too. Trailingspouse - I like the sound of your volunteer work if it involves butter making!

Massive hugs to ziggy and anyone else who is unwell xxx

I'm absolutely cream crackered at the moment... dunno what's up with me but I feel shattered all the time. Genuinely tired though, not drained. I might just need a good sleep. I'll try and get some over the weekend and try not to overdo it.

    Today's mission:
:heartpuls B/L/D from stores - done
:heartpuls Gym at lunchtime - done
:heartpuls Charge phone in work - done
:heartpuls Crochet baby blanket squares - nope sock
:heartpuls Put some neverending washing away - done
    :heartpuls No alcohol - done
:heartpuls Go for sports massage after work - done
    :heartpuls Check greenhouse
    :heartpuls Check PMP - done

    Have a good one all

Good morning all. Very soggy here in Derbyshire today.

A few bits to sort out today:

    * Breakfast and kids pack up from stores. My lunch is last nights leftovers.
    * Small trip to Home Bargains at lunch to stock up on a new necessities
    * Need to pick up birthday treats for work tomorrow (not birthday til Friday but lots off so like to do in when most people are at work)
    * Charge phone at work
    * Browse for new craft ideas to try and what materials I might already have in my stash
    * Updated budget spreadsheet - only big DD left is my car. Must ring to get that moved to beginning of month so it is out of the way

    Have a great day all.

Morning all, its soggy here in Wales too. Ziggy, sorry to hear your not feeling great, big hugs.
Clf, hope you get a good nights sleep tonight.
Same old same old kind of list today but it keeps me on the straight and narrow.
    * ys bread for breakfasts with scrambled egg :A
    * free breakfast at school for my youngest :A
    * refilled water bottle at the gym twice :A
    * check banking/update spreadsheet and email it back to myself as a back up :A
    * iron dh's work shirts, must do this today as he's away with work tomorrow/Friday so will need them :A
    * make a chicken & mushroom pie filling :A peeling spuds next on the list! (although going to have it with mashed potatoes rather then the pastry!)
    * make families lunches for tomorrow (and extra for Dh for Friday). :A
    * share bath water later
    * update kids pocket money pages in my bullet journal after their weekend spends :A

Thats my starter, take care all.
Sticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.

ZIGGY!! You don't bring the thread down at all, you are a really lovely, thoughtful, helpful and generally awesome lady. Please don't worry, we all have off days and its great having this thread to be able to vent if we need too. :grouphug:

  • Also echoing what 1LL has said ziggy! You do not in any way bring the thread down, far from it! You are one of the pillars holding this long standing thread together. We're friends, sharing the ups and downs of life. Gosh I know I have shared a lot of both ups and downs over the years.

    Hello

Been a bit hit and miss on here lately. Busy with work, day off then overtime. Very tired. Don't like working at the best of times, but all for the DFW cause so can hack it for a bit.

Ziggy, don't think you bring the thread down. We're here for support, not just with DFWness, but everything else that comes along with it. Chin up :)

Still merrily bumbling along, making payments here and there. Been a bit quiet lately as it's not pay day until next week. Should be a good DFW day though. Bonus month, so OD will be gone :j and there will be a big chunk paid of the CC.

Not very DFW today. Just pre-ordered next seasons football shirt. Only £35 though as it's a non league team (proper football) so not ridiculous like some of the Premiership teams kits.

    Aside from that spend, today:

Check banking and update spreadsheets - DONE
Clean kitchen with white vinegar and run hoover round downstairs - DONE
Order new season shirt - DONE:j
Cash out TCB account to bank - DONE
Batch cook more jambalaya - will do later (we LOVE jambalaya :D)
Cut grass before the rain comes - Oops, too late
    Put washing away - DONE

that should do for today. Have a good one all

Trying to get back on track to salvage this month after last week’s set backs. Have only managed one NSD so far. Used gym and shower at work. OH found a fiver in a puddle in the street earlier (yay for plastic money).

    NSD day today :-)
Rideshare off as working different hours this week.
Have had to keep the heat on, as it's such a damp and cold world out there.
Did my second evening of coached running for beginners, and my altogether 6th run in 2 weeks, so quite proud and feeling so much better after an hour of serious chatting and a bit of running. I think it is just so important for people like us, stressed by the basics in life out of necessity and to facilitate change, it is so important to centre oneself physically and mentally and getting out and doing a bit of moving about is a great way of doing that.
Have a lovely evening and tomorrow can only get better in particular weather wise.
