We all know that this cannot last forever. (In this context I'm referring to serious divisions within the other 27)

Yeah, they've all got their Farage clones conning the people. Trump sent his man over to sort it.

I didn't realise there were so many elitists

They're not even bothering to go to the trouble of conning them.

Just asking for blind support & we'll tell you later what you voted for.

Still, Anne Widdecombe says they don't need a manifesto. Her reasoning appears to hinge on her Granny being bombed in Plymouth.

There's no mandate for this !!!!!!.
What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

In the absence of any manifesto, If you go to https://thebrexitparty.com/ then you you’ll find out what the candidates have said...

The result will no doubt be touted as the voters giving a mandate for a hard Brexit.

Then more shouting about "The Will of the People"

    Then parliament will capitulate.

Then, years down the line,.....Well you asked for it.

Since we are discussing the relative manifestos. In the interest of balance here is the Lib Dem version.

    https://www.libdems.org.uk/eu-manifesto-19

I warn you it’s a bit of a trawl for not much actual policy. Some non-committal vague aspirations about things like ‘reforming the CAP’ and dealing with the *buzzword alert* ‘climate emergency’

They are going to achieve these aims, whatever they are, xby joining the ALDE group of MEPs who currently have 68 out of 751 MEPs. Around 9% influence in the European Parliament. They have accidentally forgotten to mention anywhere that Mr Popularity Guy Verhofstadt is leader of said group.

So a minority party in the UK is going to join an even smaller minority party in the EU.

No chance. The HoC will not allow a no deal. It's way to damaging to the economy. Farage and the other no dealers are all spin and lies.

MPs actually aren't stupid enough to believe the spin and lies...

Things are going to get really nasty from here as people start really calling out the hard Brexiters- I'm starting to think the ERG and their ilk are insane and truly evil.

Whereas the only reference to a manifesto on the Conservative party website at https://www.conservatives.com/ takes you to the manifesto for the 2017 general election, and we all know how well that went...

As things stand then, it looks like a minority party in the UK isn't going to have enough MEPs to join with any other party in th EU.

Would they be brave enough to simply cancel Brexit though?

No Deal is still very possible by default if the EU get fed up of us stalling.

Yup they would be brave enough.

Change UK are already there. Anna Soubry and Chuka have both said so this weekend. They are now arguing there is no time to run a referendum before 31 Oct so we must revoke and then talk about a second referendum afterwards. The seed has been planted and will germinate.

People are - and will become even angrier about a no deal outcome. This is not what was promised ....

    Lies, lies and spin :mad::mad::mad::mad:
