Well yesterday went for back massage which at my request got turned into leg/ back mini CBD massage. £10 well spent my knee is now able to bend, move about and legs no longer tight and pain eased. Seeing as in the end I was in there for an hr gave £5 tip. Worth every penny could manage steps so easy rest of the day.
No - gave into a coffee as I hadn't had time for lunch and was on school/ swimming run after. Failed - naughty step?
Move it - Failed yesterday only managed 6.5k steps, after sitting in swimming pool for an hr with bad cold just wanted to chill out at home, will try and make up extra steps tonight.
Scores so far

Milk , bread, cooked meat and pills delivered to mum GONE. Two sacks of bedding to Sally Anne bin GONE. Two bags of plastic bags and wheeled shopper taken to YMCA - GONE. Asked about the small fridge and large wooden chair - to be collected on Wednesday (plus anything else I think they could use/ will take) Going. Asked about embroidery fabric and small completed items (they often have card making and other crafty bits) - yes can do something with them - One large bag for life full of various embroidery fabrics/ pieces, selection of completed pieces and part-completed pieces with patterns GONE.
Still have 10 largish pieces of unused fabric, 3 cot blanket + sized, 5 work in progress and enough threads for 6 - 8 years (even that is sable - stash accumulated beyond life expectancy but in this case it's the time I might be able to continue to produce work. 2 - 3 years is probably more realistic but will continue to limp towards retirement 4 years, 10 months and 18 days, not that I'm counting or anything)
Tired now. Plans to relocate several items lurking under the kitchen table and get to bed dismantling but tomorrow will do. Not spent any money so far today but also trawled round two shops and several charity shops in search of funeral clothing and have 2 items from Beloved's wardrobe to try on (long tunics/ short dresses to go over smart leggings.
Today I am grateful for getting things out of the house, for managing so many trips (really missing the benches the workmen have corralled), for freeing up some small wooden drawers and boxes that might help in the kitchen (elephant alert). My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -
CCL - I hope you get some news soon to set your mind at rest. It's difficult even though you're not together any more not to worry.
XSpender - I love historical murder mysteries. Which one is it?

Did the Boy's ironing and a huge washing. Hung it out. Just about dried when the rain came pouring down. Now hanging all over the house dripping. Oh well.
So today I've increased the amount of fruit and veg that I normally have and made a meal plan for next week. Keeping up the skin care, etc.
Avoided chocolate and snacks but I admit to a G & T. Reducing the amount in the freezer. Found a packet of microwavable rice in the cupboard. I don't know what it's like but we'll have it tonight with our chilli.
Started a new book and a free trial of Kindle Unlimited to see if it would be worthwhile since I read so much.
I've had a look at our bills. Honestly, I don't think I can reduce them any further so I will have a good look at day to day spending.
Grateful for:
A quiet day with Himself

ccl - hope there is some news soon.
Xspender/f0xh0les - well done with your eating plans.
Have worked the last two days and don't get in until late so didn't have time to post. Yesterday was a NSD but DH has done his Tesco snack run today, no idea what he has spent yet.
Have had hm pizza for tea (mine was hm at least), will be having a relaxing evening watching a film with a glass of wine.
Had a haircut on Wednesday, this was budgeted for, it was just a wet cut so much cheaper than having it dried, my hair is curly so there is no need to dry it, still expensive for 15 minutes max though at £9.50.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Hugs ccl. Been there, done that - although in my case it was a bomb that went off on the line my ex was using. I had no way of contacting him and it was 2 weeks before he bothered to get in touch - he knew about the bomb because his bike was chained up outside the station and the police wouldn't let him have it back until they had cleared the scene.
He told me it was 'nothing to do with you.'My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -
Today I am grateful for dd having a much better time of it at school, for dh having finished his extra week of work (he's always so worn out and grumpy from it), for sitting with dd as she sorted out a plastic boxful of bath toys - such fun with all the memories they brought back.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0
