Make a budget NSDs 3/30 Nothing spent on day 3!
Enjoy the month. Do things that make you happy. Fridays are a nice short day for me as I do extra hours on a monday. So it's usually a nice chilled loose-end-tying day. Then a gossip with the bestie before she started work and I had my music lesson.
Read. Finished book 3 last night, onto book 4 tonight.
Reduce. Nothing new has entered the house today. I emailed the local library to see if they would accept donations, apparently they can only accept books published within the last 2 years. So I think I'll drop the books into a charity shop.
Increase. Music practice. 1 hour on the sax today with my tutor. Squeezed in my 10 minute guitar practice before he turned up.

Move it! Fail today. Should have hit the gym, but was hungry for my tea. :o
    Every day gratitudes:
    1) Finally catching up on the last couple of seasons of Walking Dead.
    2) Short day at work.
    3) Sausages and mash for tea :D yum yum
No! to wants, to treats. Took an apple into work for my mid-morning snack.
Think of others. I cooked tea for a change :rotfl:

Make a budget and stick to it. YNAB updated with today's spends. Bought some food at the supermarket.

Enjoy the month. OH out for the evening so watched a girlie film :).

Read. Going to read a few chapters before bed.

Reduce, reduce and reduce some more. Gathered up various bits of recycling for the bin.

Increase, increase and increase even more. Was planning to do some gardening after work but finished late (extra pennies :D) and it had started sleeting by the time I got home.

    Move it! No exercise today.

Post 3 gratitudes every day. Singing along to the film I was watching, coffee, yummy hm cheese scone.

    No! Nothing here.

Think of others. Listened to a colleague's concerns.

    16 NSD. 2/16

Pay to your debt/savings FIRST and live off the rest. £1.51 extra paid to the debt.

Plan the month. Still not done this :o.

    Morning all :coffee:
Thank you for all your kind thoughts and good wishes. He is still missing, but there is positive news from the police, so I have at least been able to reassure the kids - which is the most important thing to me. I have been trying to remind myself that there is a good reason that he's my ex husband...
I've managed 3 nsd's this month already :j which is quite a surprise for me, but my bank account is going to be strict about how much I can spend this month - payback for my spendy Easter. I'm hoping for another nsd today but I am going out with my mam and my sister this afternoon so it's not so likely really. However, I don't think that I need to buy anything so should be hanging onto my cash.
Having a girlie night in with my sister and bestie tonight, all mse and good for the soul.

Today will be a spend day, as we're going out tonight for drinks and food. Tomorrow will also be a spend day as it's shopping day, but I'm hoping Monday will be another NSD as it's the finals for the snooker I believe and OH will want to watch it.

Made some progress on the never ending kitchen sarga. One of the cupboards won't close properly but I'm waiting for OH to sort that out. Started painting backs of the last bottom cupboards and made a start on the drawers. All bottom cupboards should be up with handles by Monday and I'm hoping at least one drawer will be in too (I'm going to prioritise the cutlery drawer as it seems the most pressing).

Managed to have a long hot soak yesterday, although did end up eating two twix's (full size bars) which is a shame. Also used up some stew from the freezer, only one more portion in there which is good. Did have to throw away some bread this morning that had gone mouldy, it'd been taken out of the freezer (we needed the space) and I didn't eat it in time.

On a more positive note, I've weighed in today and I'm down 3.6lbs! Super chuffed with that as I had a cheeky weigh in yesterday and it was only 1.6lbs!

    I am grateful for:
Weight loss- I've tried really hard all week and it's paid off
Progress I have made in the kitchen
Time off to get things done!

Funny thing, yesterday turned into a NSD.

Had plans, but my motivation fell off, so I did all the laundry and stripped beds instead.

Today was a planned spend day, an unexpected beanbag occurred, and I accidentally bought 2 kilos of strawberries in the market, which are now open frozen, and will be potted up and used in smoothies along with grapes and bluebs. All good clean (eating) fun and cheaper than buying even w0nky ones.

Going to have a lovely bath while everyone else is busy making random computers go 'beeep'.

One simply does not understand the fascination, so one is keeping oneself busy doing real stuff, one says to one's imaginary computer friends....:rotfl:
