Don't think I've been awake for more than 2 hours at a time today. Lots of reading, puzzling and saving little farm animals. Have been downstairs twice for food and twice to refill a 2 l bottle with tap water. Had a shower.
Spent some time watching the weather changing - sunny, gloomy sunny rising to sweltering and then cold and dark and I rescued a bee that had come inside and was trying to get out through the wrong part of the window (picked up a small wooden board to block off the light and it decided to sit on the board and have a rest so moved it down to the bottom open part).
Had a panic about 10.20 pm as I remembered about going to church tomorrow. It was a bit late to phone mum and the service is at 9 am. so I've settled on going to represent mum, if I wake up in time.
Today I am grateful for the opportunity to rest and recover, for easy food, lots of veg and close encounters of the bee kind.My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -

Morning Turtles! Happy Sunday.
I have put out my seedlings in the garden to get used to weather, they are still coming in at night, but they are in plant daycare. Looking forward to having too many tomatoes, cukes and borgettes and flowers (livingstone daisies, cornflowers, foxgloves)
4 loads of laundry done and 2 on the line, the rest is waiting patiently.
Packed up a whole box of books to go to c/s.
DH cooked yesterday so diet went to Hull in a wheelbarrow. Did not weigh myself this morning, so made frozen fruit smoothies, lunch is yogurt.
All the football matches today start at 3pm as it is the last day of the season, so trying to get as much done before then as possible, as I might not get anything done afterwards!
GCSEs and SATS start tomorrow.
Grateful for:
freezing the market berries - reaping the rewards now!
Sunshine to dry the washing (my energy bill has reduced already)
Having a plan - it might not make sense to others, but it makes sense to me and as it my plan, it does not have to make sense to anyone else. Make your own plan!
Books.

Hello all.
Yesterday was a bit spendy but not too bad on the whole. I have been after a camel coloured mac for a while and got a lovely one in a charity shop yesterday for a few pounds, also bought some shoes and a cropped cardigan again all from a cs.
Ran this morning. Am going to do some weeding this afternoon and walk the dog later. Will be aiming for a NSD.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Hi all; my update for today, early as DD1 and I off to see Take That tonight (might have already mentioned that!!):
Budget - minimum spending but bought a new kitchen bin yesterday as old one broken and it was on sale in Mr A; also bought new top (again on sale) for TT tonight!! Neither will take me over budget and we are taking sandwiches for pre or post concert & having a big lunch.
Enjoy the month. Will try not to let work get to me. Not at work so that makes it a good day! Going to dance and sing my cares away tonight with apologies to anyone sat near me! Will enjoy quality time with DD1
Read. No time today
Reduce, reduce and reduce some more. probably not today
Increase, Increase walking - won't manage much walking today
Move it! dancing at the concert I hope
Things I am grateful for today: sunny day so washing on the line; UTube to get in the mood for TT; buying tickets for TT last year before I saw the (MSE) light & put my CC away
No! will try not to spend too much today
Think of others. I treated my DD1 to the tickets
Hope everyone is doing ok and hugs to those who need them

I am shattered. The people renting upstairs decided to have a "party" last night. Started around midnight and they were still at it at 9.00 this morning. I've been up since 6.30 but I've had very little sleep.
Added to that I spent an hour and a half this morning clearing up the mess and destruction caused by a gang of children (aged 5-12). Three of them live here but their mothers don't wont to know and let them run wild. The five year old is still roaming around in the dark because her mother tells her not to come in because her baby sister's sleeping (?). The others come from goodness knows where. Tried everything - reasoning. threats, you name it. Nothing works. This is a nice little community which is being spoiled by the thoughtless acts of a few new people. I'm at a loss what to do. Any advice will be gratefully received.
So since I was up early (apart from cleaning the communal area which will no doubt be as bad again tomorrow) I've changed the bedding, done two loads of washing which have dried outside and potted up some plants (porch is looking a bit bedraggeld).
Moan over.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -
Deni - have a lovely time.
Toni'sFriend - I'm not sure what to suggest but you can bet your life if you were disturbing them they would be complaining very loudly. I think some covert activity from you might be in order if you get my drift. There is a woman living a few streets away from us and she never cleans up after her dogs so I followed her home and for a while I deposited several little black bags that my dog obliges me with on her doorstep. I also reported her to the council.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler
