Got some temp work tomorrow and Thursday - a couple of hours each day.

I have returned from a week in Spain in which I wasn't counting my spends. That's part of the enjoyment of a holiday; in being able to save enough that you don't need to worry about it whilst you're away. So anyway, I'm on 4 for the month so far but I will rack those numbers up over the 2nd half of the month.

Sorry I've been awol - have really enjoyed catching up with all your posts this morning though.
It's a holiday here in Madrid just for today (san isidro - saint of farm labourers/animals) so we are going on a day trip.
Not doing too well with the NSDs but spending has been kept to a minimum.
Need to do more exercise though.
Thanks apple and greent, I'm going to speak to my landlord and see if she can ask as she knows the cleaning lady and I've met her only once.

Wednesday, so Himself is out with a friend and I've been left to my own devices. I do like a day to myself now and again.
Did a few things that I can't do when he's here (he gets in my way and asks stupid questions but I love him anyway). House looking nice and tidy and I'm just about to make dinner for myself and then settle down with my book.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -

My update from today:
Budget - low spending all within budget, not overdrawn this month and will be able to manage until payday on Monday but also got expenses cheque from PT job when i can get to the bank (which is 20 miles away!)
Enjoy the month - at my self employed job today and tomorrow so happy to be there.
Read - did some last night and will try to read a bit today - reading Testament of Youth and it's just got really sad
Reduce - had to buy basics today but stuck to list and budget. Got free lunch and we all got an ice cream in the afternoon as it was hot in the meeting room!
Increase walking - done well yesterday and not too bad today
Move it - as above
