So update, just OP £45 so outstanding mortgage is currently £10,205. EMDR therapist told me he was very articulate about how he feels which is great news. We are back on Tuesday and I've got a meeting on Wednesday with her to go through the therapy plan. I was told yesterday by the RTC ADHD provider that they won't assess my son as he has had significant distress in the last 6 months!! Could that maybe due to undiagnosed ADHD I wonder. Anyway (after a few tears) I'm back on it. Went to GP to get an appointment to ask to be referred to another provider (which they have to do). Went on said providers webpage and they have a handy self assessment as to whether they would do a full assessment. This gave me pointers on what and what not to say when I complete the forms. I also heard on Friday that we have been allocated a mentor for my son from a charity that its virtually impossible to get one through! At last the "we know someone who knows someone" scenario has come up trumps for me! Sadly school have yet to arrange the things they said they would (dyslexia assessment form, revised EHCP meeting, pre GCSE choice meeting for those with statements and most importantly the referral to the Youth Justice Prevention team who work with kids that could go "either way" with their behaviour). Factor in all the meetings I have arranged, working full time, keeping a home running and dealing with "behaviour" there's no wonder I'm spent.
