mortgage direct debit day today; balance is £13,534.88. Will have to wait until further into month to make any overpayments just to be on safe side. My “current” plan is working ok, let’s hope it’s my final plan and my new revised (and revised and revised again 🤣) target is met 🤞

I made an overpayment on Monday, about £163 ish I think! Mortgage is now £13,383. The target for the end of the month is 13,310 so I'll see what is left in the bank account on payday which is the 30th for me.

Brilliant! So close now! X
I've been mortgage free once, so let's do it again!

made another OP of £183 so mortgage is £13,200. My mortgage payment date is the 10th so fingers crossed when that payment goes out it should drop into the 12s. Expensive month for May and it’s half term the last week. We went to Whitby with my sister on Saturday and spent more than I should have and that’s only the first of many arrangements in May, I’m sure I’ll keep on track though 🤞

I feel your pain with May. I don’t want to wish time away but I get impatient to get past the expensive weeks. It looks like you’re on track to make it to your sub 10K target by Oct / Nov 🥳
