yesterday was very expensive, 4 pairs of glasses ordered and a Christmas present bought! Hoping car service will be ok. I have a pre payment thing with the garage so the actual service is already paid for so it’s just if more non service work is required. On holiday today so dropping car off first thing and will run back home, should be around 5.5/6 km. Hoping to be back home drinking a coffee by 9:30. Want to get over to the allotment for a bit before I walk back for the car early afternoon. My days off are never relaxing just full of jobs I need my son out of the way for 🤦♀️

Car has cost me £65 and I've just bought a new metal bike store!. Our old shed is dropping to bits and the floor has rotted away and quite frankly I'm sick of hearing my son kick the door to get it shut. As he's got a fairly expensive bike it does need locking up. I've found a metal 6ft x 3ft bike store on sale at £158 and free delivery so snapped one up. Not made it to the allotment yet (been doing prolific), about to walk back for the car and then pop to Mrs T's as boy is cooking on Thursday (apple cake) so I had best get some apples. If I can't make it to the allotment I've got plenty of garden jobs to do at home.

Just be careful of your fingers putting it together, some edges are really really sharp but once you get a few sides together it starts firming up and becomes a bit easier 😉😀

can’t wait until Tuesday which is pay day as there is fresh air in my account following a very expensive March. I would like to think April will be better. I did buy some theatre tickets last night though for a Christmas treat for me and my boy. I managed to get the last 2 £30 tickets for Paddington for a matinee performance on Tuesday 22nd December. Honestly those tickets (especially the lowest price band) are like gold dust. I looked Saturday morning and there were 2 full rows and 4 odd ones, by bedtime Saturday just 2 odd ones left. The view isn’t great (safety rail in view) but it will be OK. It’s more about the experience and the memories we make. I’m sure it will be a long running show so if we love it, after the mortgage is paid off we can do another trip with maybe a slightly higher price ticket 😂; not £250 per though 🤦♀️. We have seen Mary Poppins twice and it was just as good the second time ❤️

Overpaid £45 at the end of March and £145 at the start of April. Balance is now £13,765. Mortgage payment goes out on 10th. Been trying to budget for petrol and food which seems a near impossible job with prices continuing to rise. Going to visit relatives today which is a 200 mile round trip but that’s the biggy for this month 🤞
