Hello everyone :hello: it’s my birthday today. I’ve booked a days holiday but still sent him to holiday club, felt I deserved a bit of me time. I made an overpayment of £50 last night. It’s payday on Thursday and I’ve just cashed out some Prolific so that and any remaining bank balance with get diverted too. Sealed pot opening day on Thursday so I’ll see how much extra I need towards Christmas.

Morning All,
Pay day yesterday so bigshop today, accompanied by my boy as it’s half term. Bought a £50 premium bond last night but will do the rest of the moving round later on. It was sealed pot opening day yesterday. I only joined in February with the hope of having £75 towards presents. I was only putting shopping change in the pot so I am gobsmacked that the contents came to £125.86 :T. That will easily buy my son’s presents with maybe a bit left for me
I had a good day yesterday as someone I used to work with offered me the used of her holiday cottage for a weekend in December free of charge! It’s on the Northumberland coast and her friends are in until the Friday; she said that as no one would want it for a weekend only that close to Christmas would I like it. She knows we didn’t go away this year and we can take Hetty who loves the beach. It’s about a 2.5 hour drive so we can go when I pick up my son from school and just have a couple of relaxing days, walks on the beach and plenty of food! She also gave me a dozen eggs. They were being sold off at 8p! The display be date was yesterday but there’s still a week left on the use by, I’ll be making quiche, pancakes, cake, egg sandwiches....
Off to make a quick meal plan, including plenty of egg usage, and then shopping list and then attempt to get everyone shifting! Been to visit family today. Lovely time was had. Made an overpayment of £100 so have met my annual overpayment target I set for myself of £1,500. My annual overpayment allowance gets reset next week. Had an interview on Friday so I’ve got my fingers crossed.
