My year of living dangerously

So yesterday I took one bus as it was pouring with rain but I still walked 3 miles yesterday.:T It took me a while. I wore my old boots. The new ones are going back as they are not 100% right so that search continues…
I found an excellent coffee shop on my walk but even with a coffee I still spent less than the fares I usually spend when I don’t walk.
I took some decluttering to the CS. Whist there I saw a plain glass candlestick for 50p. It is now on my dining table and looking lovely. I’ve wanted a candlestick for ages. I bought 2 lovely 50p cards too. :money:
I popped into Mr M and picked up some reduced price veggies and salad stuff. I need to remember it was at 2pm so I might include this as a little walk a few times a week. :money:
I need to return 2 items that will yield £84 so will pop out this morning to do that.
I went to the window shop. I made an appointment for a quote. They will come on Monday. I had been thinking I needed a new window but the glass is fine. I need a new window frame so I will ask for a quote for just that.
This evening I am meeting a friend for a launch event and we are eating first and catching up. I will eat first to keep my spends to a minimum.
Wishing you all a positive, goal getting day

You're doing great on everything at the moment DIA .
Good idea about the walking .
Hope you have a good evening with the launch . For a moment I thought it was lunch . Need to get my eyes checked
I assume it's not about rockets or similar

I think Iit is hard to find comfortable walking boots. I find it easier to find comfortable trainers, I bought a waterproof pair in Cl@rks about two years ago and they're like walking on clouds.
Well done for walking three miles and I hope enjoy the launch event tonight

I think that is a good idea. I will pop into Cl@rk's today. I might need both but your idea will get me started

Woke up VERY hungry as we did not eat out last night. I got through from lunchtime with just a small bag of crisps. Not my aim, as unhealthy, but MSE too in a bad way…:money:
I had a lovely breakfast of YS mango to start, then eggs, YS smoked salmon, YS mushrooms and a wedge of avocado and a scoop of hummus. Ald1 Italian ground coffee was nice and is just £1.15 a bag
Good to see my friend, but the work on show was not to my taste. It didn’t matter.
TODAY’S LIST
The shop returns I failed to do yesterday
Top-up shop
Menu plan!
Cleaning
Cl@rk’s to look at trainer’s/hiking boots
I have a problem as my 2 quilts need washing and I can’t find a laundry with a big enough machine. So working on a solution for this today too.
MAKING ME SMILE TODAY
My dining table now is free of clutter with a vintage, embroidered tablecloth, flowers and an actual candle in a candlestick. A bit over the top but it makes me smile
Have a positive day everyone

Thanks SSG2.:) I will pop into SD as I have one not too far and need to try on. I think both will be the way I go but the walking boots can wait for a bit...Sunshine_girl2 wrote: »DIA I have walking trainers as well as boots.
