I would never trust myself with a credit card ever againbut I'm sure that you're more strong minded than I am

In over 2 years of clearing a debt of over £24,000 of debt I have learnt to be much more aware of the consequences and costs of debt. I will be fine and if I am not I will cancel the cardIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Feeling a bit vulnerable as the neighbours are building the wall of the extension as I type. I have lost the chance to get our adjoining wall surveyed. I have lost some light. I have also lost the illusion that I had good neighbours.:(
If all goes well I will be moving in due course anyway. That should be my focus.
I cleared my blocked sink and did not need a plumber. I may never reach Parsniphead’s level of skill but it was surprisingly satisfying.:T
I called the electrician and left a message. Electrical work is needed in the bathroom before the other work can begin. Best get it done. If the electrician comes when the floor sander is already here it will be 2 birds, 1 stone and all that.
It is the longest day and beginning to feel that way too.

Sorry also to hear about your neighbours DIA .
Hopefully the job they are doing is not too long or an eyesore .
One thing to remember though , is that you haven't had any disputes with them . This is a major plus when you do move .
They haven't got a bad thing to say about you ( despite taking a liberty) . Plus on your sellers form you have nothing to declare, so it's best to smile and go about your business however peed off you may be .
Everything else is still going in the right direction it seems . One or two tradespeople may do things at an inconvenient time, but accommodate them whenever you can and things will be moving much quicker . Have the coffee when you need to also , and you'll be in better form for it . Hope that makes sense :rotfl:0 -
Thanks AC. Your post makes complete sense and is exactly what I intended to do. I guess i am letting off steam about it on here at the minute but I will keep smiling.
Yes re the tradespeople too I will take them when they say they can come to speed things up.
Thanks for the helpful postIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
