    Hi everyone

    I have been listing books and I have this one

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Parson-Woodforde-Times-Country-Diarist/dp/0948903384/ref=sr_11_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1199398205&sr=11-1

    As you can see on Amazon there are no more listed. I have checked bookfinder and it has done a search and none are listed.

    Hmmmm - what do you all think I should list it at?

    Cheers

    EE

    Hi EE,

    there are some prices for new copies listed here;

    http://www.buybooks.me.uk/isbn/0948903384/

    As you can see they don't all have it in stock but might give you an idea of prices??

    you might also be interested in the Parson Woodforde Society who have lots of info here;
    http://www.parsonwoodforde.org.uk/index.htm

    Might be worth contacting them about prices?

    Good luck

    I wouldn't pay a lot of attention to these sellers advertising it as available to order, as no copies exist elsewhere online. Countrybooks & Blackwell are both notorious for advertising items available to order when the reality is there is little or no chance of them being able to source stock for you.

    Thanks for that info rare_stuff!

    good luck EE!!
  • So by the looks of it all copies have to be specially ordered so like rare stuff said it looks like no one actually has one.

    Ooh I must be special - so if I have the only one for sale at the moment should I price it high?

    oohoo! Had my best run of sales in a long time. I've sold 5 items this week! I've put all my CDs onto my ipod and am now selling them. I have a few unusual ones that are going for a tenner or more!! Over the past couple of years of selling my old books and Cds, I've made over £500!!

    Thanks to all the posters here for their tips!

    EE

    Yes!

    Though how high is anyones guess! If it sells quickly you'll imagine you priced it too cheaply, if it doesn't sell in a month or 2 trybringing it down my a fiver, though I'd be tempted to put this on between 60 & 80.

    Tried to create a listing on Amazon .co.uk for an item I have - the item is not listed on Amazon .co.uk ...... new window opens saying the item does have a listing on Amazon .de so I can't create a duplicate listing in the UK catalogue and as Amazon say my UK sellers account won't carry over ..... will I have to start again as a new seller on Amazon .de?
    Has anyone else had this situ - or had to set up on another Amazon domain .... whats involved?

    Basically, you cheat. Create the listing but with slightly different details - when it is accepted and created go back and edit it to the correct details. :rolleyes:

    Well that's what I do with books anyway - can't see it'd be any different for other things but maybe others know different...

    Popped into library today to return some books abd saw they were having a book sale, fill a bag of boks for £1.50. So I picked the most modern I could find and listed them. I must be improving as they were nearly all listing at over £1 and all except one were in the top sellers and they were all in good nick. Might pop back thurday night with a bigger bag!! (might even read some)
