Soolin - you will have everyone asking what a 'grogan' email is - that is Amazon Sellers Connection 'speak' - it has no place here :rotfl:

i replied to the feedback stating item not as described, stating that i had no contact from buyer, not aware of any problems but would like to be given the chance to resolve if i have made an error, either by refunding or replacing.
i replied to the feedback for that took 10 days to arrive, stating sold on 2nd feb, posted on 3rd feb, emailed buyer to confirm despatch on 3rd feb and postage label would confirm date posted, and that i presumed it was delayed due to the snow.
i have emailed the buyer of the not as described item apologising if i have made an error, and would like to be given the chance to resolve it if i had. I haven't mentioned this to the buyer yet but i'm wondering if they think the item is different because the amazon picture with a different view to how it was received in a packet - if that makes sense. The amazon listing is 100% correct for the item i intended to sell, correct make, model and colour etc.
i emailed the buyer whose item took 10 days and asked if she would consider removing the feedback as it makes me look like a bad seller who takes ages to send things when that is not the case, and told her item sent day after she purchased, and that she was emailed to confirm despatch and postage label showed date sent etc.
i don't know what else i can do and i'm annoyed because the neutral seems to have had the same effect that a neg would0 -
Pinkgem - I think you have done all that you can do, fingers crossed that the buyers take the time to contact you and remove the feedback.
That is a downside of Amazon - it's taken a whole year for me to return to 100% just because someone left me a neutral saying they received a 2nd hand book in the condition expected - I can understand why they did that - they would not have had a 'wonderful' experience nor a 'bad' experience - unfortunately Amazon's prompt to leave feedback does sometime illicit a bizarre response - and you are right - a neutral is as bad as a negative for the effect on your scores.

Unfortunately a neutral is in effect a negative on Amazon in terms of what it does to your feedbackI think that a lot of buyers don't realise this and will remove it once it is pointed out to them.
If you don't get any response from your emails it might be worth writing to the buyers via snailmail explaining what you propose and also giving detailed instructions on how to remove feedback. The writing letters has been suggested on the Amazon board because some buyers don't use email much or else Amazon emails end up in their spam filter. Its more hassle to write but maybe worth a try if you feel its damaging your feedback?
Good luck with it0 -
