sounds a bit weird, personally I would phone customer services and ask them what you should do.

  • I think the official line is to only send the goods to the address sent through via Amazon. When I buy books for customers I enter their address at the checkout stage, that way the marketplace seller knows exactly where to send the book and they are covered by Amazons terms and conditions.

Your buyer could have entered the German address when they checked out (the postage would have been higher).

I obviously jinxed things last week..I was having my best sales ever and on a record high and then 'whoosh' it all just stopped. No sales now since early Sunday, down from around 3-5 a day previously.

I have a few books to seel which are not yet published - I wanted to list them but I don't seem to have the option, yuet I can see other (farily big) booksellers have them listed already. Is this some sort of bonus you get as a powerseller, or something?

Thanks for the earlier advice. Emailed Amazon and quoted their policy and they removed the book review feedback within a few hours.

Couple of related questions. Can you bulk upload books on play?

And is it worth listing on Abe? Is the monthly fee charged whether you sell or not?
  • Yes you can bulk upload on Play - takes some doing but is possible.

Can't help on Abe - never ventured there.

Have you looked at the Seller Forum on Amazon as there have been a few Abe related threads recently? Might be worth asking the question over there not sure many folk on here are on Abe but have been thinking about it myself for the coming months.

Good news you got that feedback removed too :T

So an Amazon user has bought of CD from me, but their postal address looks incomplete - just the name of a London housing development and postal code. No house #.

No reply to me e-mail asking for more details. My two days are up tomorrow.

Advice? I'm thinking of a refund to avoid agro down the line.
