hHi Soolin,
On Amazon I had a very good first 3 weeks in January, but this week has been very slow.
Sales non existant elsewhere:oAMAZON SELLERS CLUB member 0033 come and join us :j make some space and get hold of some cash, we're on the ebay and other auctions, car boot and jumble sales board0 -
Amazon has been fairly consistent for me and I've had a dribble of sales on ebay as well. Just two greenmet sales this year so far though.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Hi, I'm more of a lurker on this thread and not a very high volume seller (just doing it to make a bit of money back from my unwanted possessions). But I'm having an unusual problem and thought I'd ask to see if anyone else is having it.
I had a query from a potential buyer for a game I'm selling asking if instructions were included. I was surprised since I always note this in the comments. But when I went on to check the comments were indeed gone, as are all my comments for every item (including one I only listed a few hours ago). The comments are in the listing confirmation e-mails.
Has anyone ever seen anything like this? I'm about to send in a support query to Amazon but just thought I'd ask. Most other sellers comments are still there so it doesn't seem to be too widespread.0 -
Apologies everyone I've just found an announcement at:

It must not be up on the UK site yet I guess. I reactivated my listing after a holiday yesterday so maybe they count as new listings.0 -
Amazon has some funny little glitches, but you did the right thing mentioning it on here as it means we all go and check our own items, thank you!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but today I have had the third person leave me a negative feedback because of the 'content' of the book, as opposed to the service:
"many spelling mistakes and poorly printed"
"Dull and repetative"
Anything I can do?0 -
Hi I think its generally accepted that now Amazon have tightened up on the feedback they will remove, the only thing to do is email the buyer politely and explain how negative feedback can affect your sales and that you are sure this was not their intention - explain the feedback is for the service they received rather than a book review. Ask if they will consider removing it and give them instructions on how to do that. If they don't there's not much else you can do I'm afraid. If you are a bigger seller it doesn't matter so much as you will likely get lots of feedback quickly but for a smaller seller the effect takes longer to 'wear off'.
How much has it affected your feedback?
Good luck
Teapot
Just read on the sellers forum that you can ask CS to remove feedback if it entirely consists of a review but if it contains a review plus a comment about service then they won't budge.0 -
My work sales have been pretty good - usually 10+ over a weekend
I got my first neg for a book not received - will email them but I just cannot understand why people don't just email to say it hasn't arrived. If they did I would have given them a refund and claimed via the PONot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550 -
I too got a neg for a dvd not received but I had no idea until I received an email from Amazon. I refunded the buyer straight away and will have to claim from Royal Mail as I have a proof of posting, but as I have only sold a few items the negative feedback will affect me. I emailed the Buyer but the feedback remains makes me look like a dodgy seller! I havent sold any books or dvds since.0

I coudn't get Amazon to budge on this neg for a DVD:
'bought this for my parents and they haven't watched it yet'.0
