No reply to me e-mail asking for more details. My two days are up tomorrow.
Advice? I'm thinking of a refund to avoid agro down the line.
Yeah, I'd refund and relist. I had a similar problem with an unrecognised address, with the added problem on an email address that kept bouncing my messages back.We have removed your signature - please contact the forum team if you are not sure why - Forum Team0 -
Check the post code on the Royal Mail website - there could be few houses under that code. Worth trying before you refundNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550

I sold some used like new headphones about a week ago, buyer wants to return for a refund because some of the functions don't work with his ipod. i have asked him what ipod he had and the listing doesn't state that it is compatible with his model of ipod.
they were working perfectly when they were sent and were very well wrapped in tons of bubble wrap and then in a box so i'm certain they haven't been damaged in the post. I am therefore presuming they don't work as they are not compatible, not due to them being faulty or damaged. also he has told me that he has used/tried the headphones.
do i have to offer a refund for something that has been used by the buyer and because he didn't check compatibility? if so, do i have to refund the original postage as well? i don't see why i should have to be out of pocket due to the buyer not checking compatibility.
if i have to refund with or without postage then i will do so, i'm just trying to find out if i'm obliged to as i don't want to unless i have to.0 -
Hi Pinkgem
Annoying though it is, you do have to give a full refund (according to Amazon's rules). Some sellers do charge for postage and a restocking fee, however, you can end up in trouble with Amazon if the buyer knows their rights and reports you.

even if the item has been used by the buyer?0 -
The problem with selling secondhand is proving that they have 'used' the item. I agree it is unfair, but you risk bad feedback and/or a black mark from Amazon.
I'm not saying it is fair or right, but the safest thing to do is to refund in full on return of the item 'in the condition' it was received. The last refund I agreed to give on return of the item has still not been returned

i have an email from them stating that they have used them. i just hope they haven't damaged them at all.
i will wait and see what their next reply is, i had advised them that they didn't work due to being incompatible with their ipod.0 -

I have a new unopened bottle of Chanel Chance to sell here on Amazon or on ebay. Where would be the best place to list this sort of perfume item, in terms of making the most profit etc?0
