How's every one doing for Christmas sales?
I only took of my holiday setting late on Christmas Eve and sold nothing Christmas day but in the last hour I have two smallish sales and a pending...so back to the PO tomorrow, it's as though I have never been away.
I received 3 orders on xmas day, 2 feedbacks and an odd whiney email from a customer! Sales otherwise are about what I'd normally expect from my stock amount and the freshness of it.Do You Twitter?

p.s - Not sure if there was a wider problem but had a sale through Greenmet on Christmas Eve and found it by checking the site - no email arrived - checked spam and everything too! but no sign. Still, posted today so OK - check your orders if you got stuff on GM just in case!0

Hi
I have book from 1966 which is a proof copy. I am sure I have read somewhere on here that you can't sell them on Amazon. Is that the case, and if so, is there anywhere I can get rid of it?

I've sold proof copies on ebay before now, I didn't make a lot as they weren't interesting ones, but a sale is a sale!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Amazon fees for selling are higher and the postage amount is fixed, though there is no cost to actually list an item. Just be careful of fraud on both sites and use a signed for service to dispatch the item, making sure you have the money paid by checking your amazon/paypal account before dispatch. There are restrictions to selling some high value items on amazon and new sellers may be prevented from listing items like PS3's etc until they have built up a history of successful selling.Do You Twitter?

Welcome to the thread, Tracey04!
Don't be put off by all the information on the thread. If there's anything that you're not sure about, feel free to ask and somebody will be along to help out!
You get paid directly into your bank account by Amazon at two-weekly intervals automatically. (Obviously, assuming you have some earnings to pay!) You can also request payments sooner than that manually.
People sell lots of different items from books, CDs and toys. You can sell anything that is listed on Amazon (with very few exceptions.)
Main tips are to make allowances for the cost of posting your items, as it's easy to get caught out and undercharge for the item - and forget that you need to post it from the amount Amazon pay you! Also, check what sort of prices your books are listed for by other sellers and how many are available.
The bonus of Amazon is that there are no listing fees so you only lose your time if the item doesn't sell! Good luck and hope to read your success stories on here soon! :j0
