By the way, can anyone tell me why in my 'closed listings' list a few of them don't show up? Does it only show listings for the past month or something?
They only show in the closed listings for a while and then 'drop off'. If you want to check what you sold, when and buyer etc you can do this through your account.0 -

We've just decided to dip into selling on Amazon and wanted to know if there was any way to see what items have sold?
Kind of like on Ebay where you can search completed listings, which gives you an idea of whats sold and how much for.
Thanks in advance for any help
Chris
Hi Chris,
'fraid not - you never know what items have sold for or if anyone has ever looked at them. However, the ranking on the product page at least lets you see if it has EVER sold and you can guauge prices by that once you get used to it. Confusingly there are sometimes 2 rankings - one on product page and a different one when you begin to list an item. there was a discussion about this a few pages earlier - you might find it if you search? Good luck, Teapot0 -
Finally listed all of my boxes (4)! Well, a few books I want to read first incase they sell quickly. Since new year, have now sold 5 books and 1 dvd. The dvd and one book to be posted today at lunch time, and then I can update my Make £10 a day challenge. Very pleased so far.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0

I've sold a few books through Amazon, but only in the UK. Does anyone have experience of selling internationally? Do you get more towards the postage or do you have to up the price to cover it? How do international buyers find it - does it then go onto their own country's Amazon website?
The reason I ask is that I have ordered a couple of things on there which came from the USA but I wasn't charged any extra postage - I'm convinced they must be out of pocket on the transaction and don't want to make the same mistake0 -

Not 'good' money no, but certainly enough to make it worthwhile.
I was thinking of expanding actually, I currently have storage for around 1500 books but can tidy up a lort more and possibly squeeze another 300 in . I also need to keep more on top of old stock that I should delist and make room for new stuff.
I even have half a thought of buying a pallet and paying for storage in one of those stroage places, but as I live in Greater London storage is very dear and I need to get my head round one of those complicated sums of if I buy at X and storage costs Y can I sell enough books to cover Y + income tax + petrol +plus cover the inconvenience of having to drive to collect my books.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Thanks for the reply Teapot, I must say the Amazon interface from a sellers point of view seems to be a far more "slick" affair than Ebay. I'm very impressed with it so far.
Also pleased as made my first 3 sales late last night for 2 Xbox games and 1 book. :j
This could get kind of addcitive0 -
