What I have noticed though, is that Amazon buyers don't read the discription, so if the difference is significant, I always contact them to confirm they are happy before posting.

    Thanks chja - that's a good point.

    Hi everyone
Sorry if this is a daft question.
I've just posted my first 4 items I've sold and have now gone to the View Orders section on Amazon. Clicked the Contact Buyer/Shipping Notifcation.....
Do I type anything on here or is something auto generated by Amazon?
    Thanks
    Chris

There is a big box where you can type free format - nothing will happen automatically.

Well done letting your buyers know that you have shipped - too many don't bother.

    Hi
Just gone into the view payments page and it says that my balance is £0.00 but I know it should be £50+ as all the transactions are there just not showing on first page. Any ideas? I haven't requested the money be sent to me. I have emailed them but wasn't sure how long they take to reply.

    Thanks

It hasn't been sent automatically has it? There should be a drop down box at the top right of the page where you can see if there is a previous invoice and that might show a payment has been made.

2 more books sold today and despatched. That makes total of 7 books and 1 dvd since new year. Not making massive profit on any of them, but they were all free so it's all extra. :)

Could it be a pending where an email has got lost?

As far as I can recall, pendings don't go into closed listings - I think they stay in open but move to '0'. Happened again tonight, book moved to 0 in closed but SDN didn't arrive for some time and it didn't appear in orders either. I only noticed it had sold as I'm relisting books from my closed listings as i gave up being PM and they all closed at once

Urgh, some Marketplace sellers keep trying to undercut my listings by 1p

I'm not too bothered, I have allowed myself a lowest figure to drop down to before I let them have the low price. I've made a killing on a load of old Xbox games that I never thought were worth much, I have just sold Halo 2 for £5.99 and I have seen it go for as little as 99p on eBay!

  • Hi everyone, just popping along to say hi :D

I sold a couple of things on Amazon a while ago but have now started selling in earnest, listed a load of books, vids etc last week and have had 23 sales so far.
