Sold my first item via the marketplace, it's a bit annoying that I seem to have to wait 21 days before I can spend the money, but it's an understandable security measure :)

Can I assume that after the initial 21 days, all future credits are applied instantly?

Amazon will send the funds to your bank account regularly after that (I think its every 2 weeks)

I have that setting set to manual, I'd rather keep the funds stored in Amazon so that I can use it to purchase items (like playfunds), is that possible or do I have to have the payments paid into a bank account? (I have looked at the terms and conditions, but I am confused...as usual)

Once you have a history of selling you can even withdraw to your bank account between the regular 14 day pay dates which is useful to remember if you make a very large sale.

Strange how we all accept that new sellers on Amazon have to wait 21 days befroe they can access their funds yet we all moan when they do the same on Ebay!

You can't use the money in your Amazon selling account to pay for goods bought unfortunately.

    Hi everyone!

    Happy 2009!!

It's been a long time since I was on here!

I thought I would pop on to let you know that I have closed my amazon book shop now and had to get a job with guaranteed income due to mortgage going up, so I am auctioning off all my 17,000 books on ebay, although I have divided them into smaller lots to make it easier for the common seller to buy.

If you would like to have a look pm me and I will send you the link to my ebay listing. I am not just selling the dregs, I am literally selling every book I have, including ones I haven't listed yet.

Take care everyone - hope all your businesses are going well.
