What do people use as proof of value when claiming from RM for Amazon items?
When I've claimed for Amazon losses I just claim for the full amount as per my SDN email so that when I refund and I not out of pocket at all. I usually even add a copy of the refund page on Amazon to the claim so that they can see the amount I refunded, I don't bother breaking it down between item cost and postage and cross fingers haven't had problems.
I do hate buyers who go straight to an A-Z claim, if I remember correctly they only have a limited number they can do so maybe it is a good thing that they waste one on a good seller who would refund anyway.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I notice that he's got some disgruntled feedback from sellers recently, apparently left in retaliation for feedback he's left. Is it possible to look at feedback he's left without faffing around with copying and pasting and searching for the sellers individually (which I'm not even sure how to do!)
Suppose I should be grateful he hasn't negged me... yet!My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
I have no idea even how to find feedback for a buyer let alone feedback left, sorry. I sometimes don't find Amazon user firendly for things like that.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Fay, could be worth a call to Amazon seller services to find out if this buyer is trying it on. They won't give you details but could put a note on his file regarding a larger than average number of complaints/claims of non delivery.
If you refund without Amazon refunding on your behalf am I right in believing that this doesn't count as an A-Z claim?

If I could see the feedback he's left I'd have a better idea of what his complaints have been for
All I can see are the responses from the sellers.
Incidentally he didn't have a name to be delivered to - just a trading/business name - which I thought was a bit unusual. Guessed he might be intending to sell the item on. It was only a PSP UMD film.My TV is broken!

Fay, might be worth holding out a bit longer - maybe someone else took delivery and hasn't passed it on yet. I never like it when an order comes through to a company name and not to an individual - not that I've had a problem with this though.

I've managed to list 3 out 1 boxes, that's about 96 books done. And I've already sold my first 3 from that lot.
Very pleased.
Frivolous fay - hope you get sorted with that one.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -

I agree, you don't have anything to gain by refunding quickly now, they have already gone straight to an A-Z. I would let this lie until Monday when you have a chance to talk to CS.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Hi there - I've done really well selling our unwanted books on Amazon (and I didn't even know this thread existed until today!), and I was wondering about selling toys and games - does anyone have any experience?
From tomorrow, 5 January, everyone can sell games again, not just pre-approved sellers, and I have a few things to list. I was wondering if people found they sold well?
Thanks,
