I am going to admit that I was ready to give up this morning when I was lying in bed. I weighed myself and I have finally lost another 2 pounds.:j

Drawingaline, Wednesday......well done on your weight losses. :T:T

Well we went out for an impromptu family meal tonight to celebrate DILs return to work - I probably used up all my weeklies. :rotfl: it was yummy though. :D

    Good afternoon everyone....

Having a bit of a mixed day if I'm honest, it's cold, wet and miserable, I'm tired and a bit fed up. Acupuncture was really sore today, probably because I'm tired and my pain threshold is always lower when I'm tired.

Missing my husband for some reason and feeling a bit Woe is Me. It is on days like this when I want to go on a spending spree ...come home blast up the central heating and then sit and comfort eat. :rotfl: I am going to really have to work hard to fight it today and psyche myself up to remain focussed and positive today.

I went to Sainsbury's and managed to curb my retail therapy to some cheap and cheerful spends, a nice new notebook and some earrings. Very restrained of me. :D. ......only because I was so fed up I didn't actually like any of the clothes......so that was a plus.

I need to really watch my points for the next few days so that I can carry some dailies over for a bit of a family party on bank holiday Monday because I'm guessing that I used all my weeklies last night. So as many low or free point meals possible.

Oh well - no one said it was going to be easy.........;)

Sorry to read that Lessonlearned and Hollowhead are feeling down today. xxxx

It has been a crappy day here weather wise. Raining and very dark.

I just pulled the curtains, put on my oil diffuser and played some loud music to cheer up the day.:D

I'm making low carb kidney bean burgers for dinner, I will have it with salad, salsa, jalapenos and half an avocado.

CAndy.......wow go you, that's fantastic. Well done. I bet you feel dead chuffed.

Yeah, 6 months and you'll be a new woman, with a nice decluttered house too.

I do feel bit "widowy" today, no real reason. I have been doing granny duty this week, it's been lovely but I can't help but think how much he would have loved being a grandfather. My poor grandson is really going to miss out. His other grandparents live in Venezuela so he'll only see them once a year and then he's only got me. Oh well it can't be helped.

Anyway, I gave myself a stern talking to, and decided to make an effort to sort a few things out. I looked at my finances:eek: another reason to feel a bit glum this month.......lol. April was a bit spendy. Not helped by the fact that I ran into someone's car.......the damage wasnt too bad £250 so I just settled it myself rather than claim off my insurance and bump up the premium.

Anyway I have made a list of money things I can change and shift round over the next couple of weeks . I also did a freezer inventory. I think I will have a use up month and see if I can save a bit of money somewhere, need to claw back some of the overspend.

So at least I have done something constructive this afternoon.

I have decided to use my new notebook for WW receipes and tips. It's actually a "project book" with dividers so I can have one section for WW, another for the house renovation budget, one for general money etc. Keep everything together and nicely organised.

Wednesday......I'm going to do the same, shut out the weather, light the candles, snuggle down. Going to rewatch a couple of episodes of Line of Duty. It twists and turns all over the place and I havent got a clue what's going on. It's the series finale in Sunday so I need to try and get to grips with it.

The weather is not fit for anything else really, it feels like winter has returned.

Not a great day......but, as Scarlett O'Hara was wont to say....."tomorrow is a another day". Lol.

    Good morning everyone

Well yesterday was rough, but I managed to stay on plan and even carry 2 Pts over. I slept really well so hopefully today will be easier. Luckily my "widow" days dont strike quite so often now. They do still wipe me out though.

My WI is on Monday......but I doubt that I will make it - I'll just weigh myself and keep using the app for inspiration. I love looking at the before and after pictures and reading some of the inspirational quotes.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend.

I know she's amazing.......there are several on there who have lost 10st or more. They really do inspire me to keep going. Some good recipes too.

I love the face morphing thing. What amazes me is how their eyes look so much bigger when they've lost the extra weight from their faces.

I have to say I've noticed quite a difference in my face already, not just my waistline. I am starting to look much better, also my skin is much nicer.....must be all the fruit and veg.

I'm still tired today but I've managed to do a bit of cleaning and some food prep. Going to have some lunch and then put my feet up. The rest of the cleaning can wait.....there's nothing spoiling.

The builder said he would be here this weekend to finish the kitchen floor but I think he must have forgotten it's the bank holiday. Tbh I don't really want him here this weekend so I'm glad he's not shown up. I just can't be bothered with all the extra mess at the moment.

Today's meals are very simple but nice and low in points.

Full English breakfast. 2 Pts for bacon
Lemon sole and salad for lunch I think fish is either 3 or 4 Pts, need to double check
Sausage meatballs in tomato with courgetti for dinner. 3 Pts

So plenty left for nibbles later and hopefully carry some over for Monday.

    A much easier day today.
