Meatballs.
You can use mince or sausage meat. You can just remove the meat from the sausage skin. Shape into small balls. Fry with onions, garlic, tomato pur!e. When browned add a tin of tomatoes, the add whatever herbs you like. Dead easy only takes a few minutes.
Granny or Grandma. Lol. Actually Im “Babon”, its Belgian.0 -

That's the spirit, Candy. Tbh I don't think it does any real harm to have a little Beano now and again. I think the trick is to just get back on track ASAP.
Been charity shop mooching today. Two fab little jackets, size 14.:j. One fits perfectly, one is a bit tight but should be fine in a few weeks.
Just had some leftover curry with salad.
Tonight's dinner will be low fat sausages, butter bean mash, veg.0 -

LL can you have a look at my post in the DIY house forum.I think you might give better advice than some :rotfl:"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

Hi Candy....I have looked on the DIY thread and answered your question as honestly as I can. I am sorry, hun, but you probably won't like my advice....however, I think you do need to take your time and not rush the work. It's a big project, expensive, time consuming and with the potential to go awry if you're not careful.
I have a similar set of renovations in the pipeline and I'm not going to even attempt to do them all at once.....well the budget wont allow for a start. I shall be doing it in stages.
Sorry if I sound like a party pooper but I don't really think you can go on holiday and just leave the builder to it, I really do think that you will need to be on hand to keep an eye on things.
Sorry pet.0 -
Good morning everyone.......just popped on the scales. STS. That's fine. I have been off piste several times this week so I'm not surprised. Anyway my official weigh day is Monday so today's weigh in doesn't really count iyswim.
I currently have a load of summer clothes in the washing machine.......hoping for some nice warm weather soon. It's been a loooooong winter.
Quiet weekend in the pipeline.....gardening, cooking and some pampering, rest up a bit ready for more granny duty next week. Then, after next week, hopefully I won't be needed quite so much and I can then get back to my house renovations.
Bfst......smoked salmon, scrambled egg. 1pt
Lunch...salad of some sort Ham maybe, will keep to around 3pts
Dinner...pork steak, vegetables, couple of croquet potatoes. 8pts
I'm going to start adding a few more carbs. I have been very tired this week - maybe I need more carbs for energy - although it could be that I have just been super busy.
Anyway I'll see how I go. I am also going to go back on a vitamin B complex, might help boost my energy levels. But I think what will really help is some nice warm sunshine.
Hope you are all well, happy and feeling good.0 -
Good morning! Well done lessonlearned for STS always nice when you know you’ve gone off plan a little!
I am super pleased with myself today as I had a night out last night and stayed on track drinking Bacardi and Diet Coke instead of wine:T but the best bit was when I got home I really wanted cake and I went straight to bed without it:T usually I would sneak a sly piece in on my way to bed:rotfl:0
