Good morning everyone.....looks like a gorgeous day.
Last night I developed a UTI, managed to get to the walk in centre and get anti biotics so thankfully feel a bit more comfortable this morning.
The problem is ABs have a tendency to make me feel very queasy so I will probably have to snack rather a bit to control the nausea. Oh well it's only for a few days. I'm doing ok so a few days off plan won't matter too much.
Hollowhead.....well done in avoiding the cake. Alcohol makes me ravenous too. You did well.0 -
LL have you got any probiotics to take? They sometimes protect your tum from antibiotics;)
Have had banana on toast for brekky, shared with Fatty Bon Bon of course, n am going to the Indian cafe for tea. Will try n be good n have half a masala dosa n salad

Just back, n omg the dosa was lush, n only 6 points for half :eek:I always feel happy when i've had a treat, within my points allowance:jBrought half of it home for tomoz"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

Glad you enjoyed your treat.
For me that's the secret, if I make an effort to eat something nice I am more likely to feel happy and satisfied and stay on track. If I just grab something that is only so so then I don't really enjoy it and end up feeling deprived. That's when I start nibbling.
STS this morning. That's fine. I had to nibble a bit to fend off the nausea yesterday so did go over my allowance. I only have two more days of ABs to go so hopefully I shouldn't do too much damage.
Yes I am taking probiotics, they help.
Hope you all have a good week.

STS - what does this mean please? Oh, stay the same? DUH, as I typed it I realised lol
It is very slow going for me, lucky if I lose 1 pound every two weeks, but hey, at least I am going in the right direction.
Starving today so eating lunch at my desk early - HM cauliflower soup with a bit of reduced fat cheddar, and chicken salad sandwich in a warburton thin - boiled eggs for breakfast so not too bad so far.
We're really doing this, ladies, can't believe that I am nearly a stone and a half lighter than I was this time last year, it really is so empowering.
Wore my size 12 sale cardi this weekend, with a pair of jeans with a belt to hold them up! I reckon size 14 may be a bit tight yet so will persevere for a another couple of pounds then invest in some new ones0 -
Slow but steady Dorothy.....remember the tortoise and the hare. :rotfl:
Half a pound a week is 26 lbs over the year, almost 2 stones. Not to be sniffed at. Plus I think a slow weight loss would mean that you would be less prone to excess flabby skin. Also, very often people who lose weight very quickly struggle to maintain over the long period.
You're right though, it really is empowering. When all the world is going crazy, when difficulties arise and when we struggle to keep life on an even keel, it's easy to feel powerles at times. However, one thing we can do is be responsible for our weight, health and well being. It is something we can take control of.
And the sun is shining......what more can we ask for. :rotfl:0 -
Sounds like everyone is doing well. My weekend was not so good. I am definitely over my points again this weekend. I seem to be able to hold it together all week and then lose it at the weekend. Next weekend should be better though as am not doing anything. Actually I am at Paulton Park all day Sat, but will take a pointed packed lunch and maybe buy a coffee. I don't expect a loss this week on the scales, but my trousers went on a bit easier than the past few weeks, so going the right way?
I have meal planned the rest of the week, and will have a look at the weekend this evening. Weigh day is Wednesday, still today and tomorrow to maybe make a difference!Debt free Feb 2021 🎉0 -
I was just saying I have gained back a couple of pounds during my break from dieting so it's back to counting WW points again for me.:D
I want to get into that black Next short skirt I bought for the concert on the 1st of June. The zip doesn't do up all the way yet.
I had a toasted sandwich for breakfast with lots of water.
I'm going to make a vegetable curry or a soup for lunch.0 -
