First weigh in today, lost 2lb . Was a little disappointed as it was my first week, but I’m trying to be positive and think 2lb is good
.
Well done drawingaline :T 1/2 is good when you’ve gone over on points. I need to be determined to stick to it this week . Think I ate too many grapes last week to keep me going and although they are free they do have loads of sugar in. Good luck everyone for next week0 -
Well done you two, a loss is a loss, right.:rotfl: no matter how small - it means we are travelling in the right direction.
All we need to do is keep going......
Just had a trying on session and wardrobe sort out. If I say so my clothes look and feel so much better now. No more clinging in all the wrong places, no more back boobs. :rotfl: :rotfl:
It's given me a huge moral boost and makes me more determined than ever.
Bfst......banana pancakes, blueberries and yogurt. O Pts
Lunch. Beef chilli, broccoli rice 3 Pts
Dinner. Pork medallions, vegetables 4 Pts.
That leaves me leeway for coffees 1.1/2 Pts each time (sorry I have to have cream and sugar) and some crackers and cheese for supper.
I usually allow myself 3 cups of coffee so that's 4.1/2 Pts out of my daily allowance, and two cups of tea adds another 1pt.
So in effect I "waste" 5.1/2pts on hot beverages, so that's why I try to have a couple of free or very low point meals.
If I can do that then I'm happy. I don't feel deprived or hungry.
I'm going to sit down and have a look at my new recipe book this afternoon. Get some fresh ideas.
Anyway glad to see you are doing well. It's not the easiest of journeys but it will be worth it in the end.0 -
Morning fellow WWers. Been MIA for a while but quietly doing my thing here. Slowly slowly slowly losing, some weeks not even a pound but at least the numbers are going down not up. I am delighted to report that I am down to 10st 5 which means 5lb off since I started this lovely healthy way of eating and is a real milestone for me, as I was last at this weight in 2015 for my daughters wedding.
I am not very good at tracking, or planning, or shopping - lost cause here lol, so if I haven't had anything suitable I have not eaten, and I am sure this is why my weight loss has slowed.
Please keep posting your meal ideas, this really helps me as I am rubbish with the app.
I was interested, LL, to hear that you rollover some of your daily points? Is that allowed? I only need to lose another 5lbs to reach my target, but I really do want to get my moneys worth of out this and stick to it.
I have continued to tone and exercise and my silhouette continues to improve, much longer and leaner. Have made a concerted effort to improve my posture as well, have started to walk like a dancer lol. Still have a bit of a belly but that will be the last thing to go. Like you, LL, I am enjoying wearing my clothes and they hang as they should, instead of clinging round the bulges.
Bought some new bras and was delighted to learn that I have dropped a band size, but cup size remains the same. Strange that, cos they definitely look neater, probably cos they are properly supported with the new bras.
Haven't bought any new clothes for ages, but can now wear some old favourites, one jacket for the first time since 2012! Love it. Last night picked up a leopard print cardi in the sales for £8. Got a 12 thinking it will fit in a few weeks AND IT FITS NOW - am so delighted.0 -

Cup size is related to your band size - the cup size is the number of inches bigger than your band size you are, so if your band size has gone down but you are still the same cup size then your cup size has gone down too, in effect. So if you measured, for example 36 around the ribs and your bust was 5 inches bigger then that might be a c cup (I can't remember the exact figures), with weight loss you might measure 34 inches round the ribs but your bust could still be 5 inches bigger which would still be a C cup as the cup is based on the difference between the two measurements but your actual bust would be 2 inches smaller.
Hopefully I'm making sense!0 -
Ah right, I see (I think) - what's confused me is that I am still a G cup but 36 now instead of 38. They certainly look smaller and - never be perky again lol, but that awful matronly look has gone, never to return. Love this sharing of ideas and expertise - whether I post or not it's you lot that are keeping me on the straight and narrow lol0

Hi Dorothy.
You can rollover up to 4 PTs per day. Useful if you know you are going out fir a meal so you can plan ahead or if you have had a day when you have exceeded your daily allowance and have no weeklies left.
However you can’t bank them for the following week. If you dont use them within the week you lose them.
I really like the flexibility. Today I’m on granny duty. He’s asleep at the minute. Lol. It will be a long day so I will be eating all my meals here and I will go over my allowance but I do have some leeway from banked points.
Another 1lb down today.
Thanks for the bra sizing information. I’ve never fully understood it. I get it now.
Pleased to say I’m definitely looking less matronly too.
Going to use grandsons playmat as yoga mat later..:.lol.0 -

Ah right, I see, thanks for that, that's really useful. You mentioned upthread that you had meatballs for supper - is there a special recipe? Love the sound of that.
I love yoga - not done any for ages, but I really must start again, it's so good for core strength and flexibility. When I see how 'wobbly' some older people are, I am determined to remain lithe and limber for as long as possible.
You sound as if you are enjoying 'Granny Duty' - are you a Granny? As opposed to Grandma etc? I am, I insisted, mine were Grannies and if it is good enough for the queen............0 -
