How frustrating. Try ebay, may pick up a second hand one cheap. I have two under counter freezers from ebay, one was brand new still in the wrapping and one was a year old.
So I have three points left today and a bit out of ideas. May point one of the kids yoghuts in the fridge......
But so so proud, went to guides this evening, we were doing dancing so did a bit of exercise and didn't have a biscuit! This is a huge achievement for me, biscuits and cakes are my real weak spots.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉0 -
Candy....how frustrating.
Can you pick up a cheap second hand one. Local flea bay page, gumtree or maybe a chazzer. We have one called Happy Homes, it's part of the Salvation Army. They sell appliances.0 -
I've got one off Shpock , £45 n they're delivering it
It better bloody work:rotfl:

It only has to last a while though.
So have sat down and pointed everything I will eat today, left with one point and my weeklys. Feeling positive.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉0 -

Excellent.....that should keep you going till you get your new kitchen.
Just stepped on the scales......definitely going down ...:D
Have started buying some size 14 bits and bobs from the chazzers. Two dresses and a long cardigan/jacket yesterday.
DL. Well done on getting back in the zone. Keep focussed. We can so do this.........
Re suppers/evening treats. I found some mini rice crackers in Sainsbury's, made by a company called Snack Organisation. 1/4 of a packet is 3 points. That's 14 crackers. I had 7, so 1/8th of a packet for 1.1/2 Pts. They do 3 different varieties.
So my supper was crackers 1.1/2 Pts, pate 2 Pts, 5 olives 0pts, baby tomatoes, 2 clementines. Quite a feast for just 3.1/2pts.
Today's breakfast will be reduced fat cheese and ham omelette. 2pts.
Not decided about the rest of the meals yet but I'm well stocked up with healthy goodies. Need to pop to the local shop for mushrooms and maybe some fruit.
I think I will make a nil point vegetarian shepherds pie, some to eat today and a couple of portions to freeze. I use lentils instead of the shepherd, and butter beans for the topping instead of potato.
I am managing to roll over 4 points each day to add to my weeklies because I shall be eating out on Sunday and I want to stay on plan.
I have to say I feel so upbeat and positive. I can see both my body and face changing. I feel great.0 -
I was in a bad mood as I worked out 6 times this week and the scales haven't moved. I then took my measurements just now and nearly fainted with shock!
I've lost another 3 inches from my waist and another 1 inch from my hips. My hips are officially a size 12 now!:T
I don''t understand why my weight is exactly the same, though!
Anyway, I'm going to try the high carb/low carb thing on every other day.
Today is low carb.
I'm having a banana and almond milk smoothie for breakfast. I know bananas are technically carbs but I wasn't sure what else to have.:rotfl:
I have leftover zero points home made soup and then a leftover kidney bean chilli to have (no rice or bread) just with an avocado, cucumber and green olive salad.
Stir fry tonight.:)0 -
I think it's to do with body shape changing. Exercise seems to do that and sometimes you plateau with the weight. Feel fab with what you have achieved.
I have used some weeklies and am having some yogurt and fruit later with my coffee.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉0 -
Good morning my lovelies
Well another 21bs gone, and another 1" off each of my vitals. Wahoo.
I'm loving it.!!!
I started a few exercises yesterday, a bit gingerly at first because of my shoulder ......I can hear it clicking - quite disconcerting :rotfl: but I'll persevere. Start slowly and gently.
Also did quite a lot of gardening - that counts too doesn't it. :rotfl:
Miserable day here, so no gardening today.
Have a great weekend.0 -
High carb and low fat day today. I'm going to have mashed potatoes and steamed veggies with gravy for brunch. I just fancied it.:D
It's funny as I was low carb yesterday and when dinnertime rolled around I wasn't as hungry as usual. I couldn't do low carb all the time, though.Drawingaline wrote: »I think it's to do with body shape changing. Exercise seems to do that and sometimes you plateau with the weight. Yes, I definitely notice my body shape changing. At least I haven't gained any back, that is the important thing.:)2025 GOALS

Total of 25 points used today. Still have 33 weeklies left. May have to have a little treat later. Feeling really motivated atm. Long may it continue!
Well done LL. I need to measure at least my waist. It is a good 6cms bigger than a couple of years ago.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉0
