Hi everyone - hope you all had a lovely Easter - what fabulous weather, makes all the difference.

I expect that I am not the only one that had the weekend off WWing - some nice wine and prosecco in the garden, with lovely food while the DGC hunted for eggs. Too hot for exercising as well. Funnily enough though, I didn't overindulge if that makes sense? I knew that I would go over my points allowance and didn't count them at all, but I didn't eat or drink for the sake of it, which I normally would have done.

So back on track with a vengeance now - just fruit and a lovely HM cauliflower soup - cauliflower, a veg stock pot, spring onions and a small tub of low fat cream cheese with lots of black pepper - simples - even used frozen cauliflower - blitzed in blender. Lush. Not as warm today but still nice, so walked to work, nearly 6k steps already today then I shall do my ballet toning when I get home.

LL I so wish I had taken a selfie of my 'before' and taken measurements, but I was too scared lol!! Or rather disgusted at myself - but the new me is slimming down nicely, if a little slowly, but hey, we're in this for the long haul and it's only been two weeks so I am not going to look like Kate Moss overnight!

You lot are really keeping me on track - well done all of us

I wish I could find where I wrote down my measurements when I was 16 stone so I could compare but I have mislaid it!

I was just saying that I have only been exercising for a few days but I am noticing the difference already. My bra is on the tightest band fitting now so the dumbbell exercises must be toning up my top half.

I am going to go and take my measurements now and write them down so I have a comparison.

I haven't lost any weight but weigh-in day is Friday anyway.:D

I had cereal with almond milk for breakfast after I exercised this morning and I am making a roasted tomato and harissa soup with bread for lunch.

Have just made the lentil saag, off the WW app, only 1SP, n toasted a wrap in the air fryer, to dip in it, as naans are mega high points. It was delish :p[/QUOTE]

    I've made that before, yum.:)

I just had a brainwave and remembered that I left it in the back of my day planner.

I didn't keep it from when I was a lot heavier but I measured myself when I was a stone and a bit heavier and wrote it down.

I've lost 3 inches from my bust, 4 inches from my hips and 4 and a half inches from my waist.

That is a lot of inches from just a stone weight loss.:T

I went into a local supermarket the other day and the man behind the counter was being super flirty with me. I've been in that shop so many times and he ignored me so I must look different.:rotfl:

I did find it much more motivating to compare my measurements as when you lose a couple of pounds in a week you often can't see any difference. It shows what a difference exercise makes too.

I'm going to measure myself every week from now on.:A

Just dug out my old notes of my measurements when I started.......3 inches off bust, 5 off my waist and 4 off my hips.....

Wednesday.....:rotfl: at being eyeballed by the shopkeeper.

I tend to eats some form of eggs most breakfasts, because I try to keep my breakfast as low in points as possible.

Today I did banana pancakes, 1 egg, 1 banana, with blueberries and a tabs of low fat creme fraiche. Absolutely delicious even if I do say so myself. :rotfl: 1pt

Lunch was a concoction.......stir fry vegetables served with a sauce made up of mushrooms and tomatoes with a 1 tabs of creme fraiche again. Again just 1 pt.

Dinner was rainbow rice, two small pork medallions 100g so 4 Pts and purple broccoli. So just 4 Pts.

That leaves me plenty to play with ......a square of chocolate for desert with my coffee and for supper I shall have a couple of crackers with some Brie and some fruit.

It's amazing just how much you can eat.....:D

I have ordered the Pinch of Nom cookbook. It should arrive today.

It doesn't actually state the point or syn values but the recipes are supposed to be WW and SW friendly and are calorie counted.

Apparently it's easy to work out points from the ingredients list.

Stepped on my home scales this morning. I'm never sure how accurate they are but they seem to indicate a downward trend.....:rotfl:
