Lol to the knickers falling down.:rotfl::rotfl: one of the things I'm most looking forward to is buying some gorgeous feminine new underwear. Soooo fed up with mummy pants. :rotfl:
DL. Glad you're feeling better and more motivated. We've got this....we can do it.
And it will be soooo worth it. I look at the before and after pictures on the WW website and the transformations are incredible.
I think finally losing the flab is going to be a game changer for me. I feel so much better, brighter and more confident already.
So much so that last night I joined a dating website.:rotfl: mad impulsive fool that I am.
I'm not expecting much but I'll try and keep an open mind.0 -
Lol LL! Brave move. But I nothing else it gets you out and an excuse for dressing up and possibly a new outfit. And you never know, you might just end up having an enjoyable time even if you don't meet anyone you forsee a future with.
Hubby and biggest boy are off to see the avengers later so me and the smalls will have to fill some time. Must stay away from food.......!Debt free Feb 2021 🎉0 -
I'm on the third day of the low carb/ high carb thing.
I'm enjoying the low carb more than I would have thought.
I had a blueberry, almond milk and chia seed smoothie for breakfast and then an avocado and olive salad for lunch.
I'm going to do a stir fry of mixed peppers, garlic and courgettes with two sliced up tofu sausages for dinner.
Nuts and fruit as snacks.:)Still haven't measured myself, but my knickers are falling down already:eek:
Ooh er, missus.:rotfl:0 -
It's funny Wednesday but I'm the same with carbs. Initially I gave them up because of IBS, but then staying off them to tackle my diabetes.
I knew I could manage without the sugary carbs but I genuinely thought I would never adapt to a diet without bread or potatoes. But I can truthfully say I don't miss them now. I feel so much better without them and my blood sugar levels are definitely improving.
Don't forget you are probably eating more fruit and veg now, which are of course carbs anyway. They are classed as green carbs so are deemed the most healthy and of course they also contain fibre as well as vitamins and other nutrients.
I am eating a lot more plant based foods now - around 8 to 10 portions a day. My skin has never looked better.0 -

It's strange as yesterday was a high carb day and I had a wholemeal bread roll with my meal and I only ate half of it. It just didn't taste that good to me. Very unusual.
My GP is always going on about the evils of gluten and how bad it is for you.
I was reading more about metabolism and I think that may be the problem as to why I haven't lost any more weight.

I did the quiz in that link and it said my metabolism is stalling.
It seems like it happens to a lot of people when they are dieting. They hit a wall and you have to reset your metabolism to lose more weight. Hopefully it will work for me anyway.:)2025 GOALS

I hate diet drinks. Full sugar cherry coke is my downfall. I try and avoid it except for a treat. One of my clients always gives me a full sugar lilt on a tuesday. It's 4sp, so going to have to add that in now. It's doable and I enjoy it.
Heavy on the point dinner as doing a fry up. All pointed and am doing sausages in the oven, but taken quite a few of my weeklies. But I am still feeling determined right now.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉0 -
I’m thinking of joining WW. Does anyone know if I join online to attend classes as well will I get a welcome pack when I go to first meeting? Also will I get the welcome talk?0
