I would hold fire. Although somewhat helpful when the "other company" went down recently they were much more sympathetic. It's VERY soon after and they obviously need time to assess, but I'd like to think they'll offer a similar degree of assistance (at least).0

I started court proceedings with Mobile Affiliates Ltd last week due to the fact that they had not honoured several cashback requests and received in the post today the 'notice that acknowledgement of service has bee filed' letter. I was hopeful until I read this post!!
The acknowledgement stated that Mobile Affiliates Ltd had received my claim via the courts but was time and date stamped 16.15 on 13 Novemember - just before they ceased trading!!
Oh well....lets wait and see. I don't suppose I'll ever see any of the money owed. At least my contract ceases this month BUT I'm still owed £320.0 -
I have just got a phonecall from voadafone after calling them up on friday. They have offered me half price contract for the remainder of my contract. £35.00 to £17.50
This is great news. I would advise everyone ringing up again and asking them i phoned 0870 0779 779.
give it a go!! it looks like vodafone are being the most generous network, juts got to wait for T-mobile and Three
Hi Shazam, were you with cool new mobile or phone box direct? you see i got a call today and they asked me if i was with dialaphone, and this was from the 'memo' department. They then said they just need to check some information and would give me a call back...which after about 2 hours i still haven't received that call yet! but nyway i just wanted to ask you...did u have to say anything specifically to them to get ur priceplan reduce to half price? or did they just do it for you by not considering anything? i mean did they consider anything like being a student so affordability issues?0 -

Just written to watchdog about CNM. Why not do the same, the more people that contact them the better. http://www.bbc.co.uk/consumer/tv_and_radio/watchdog/contact_index.shtml
Can MSE set up a page so we can make a list of everyone affected and what they've lost? I stand to lose £942 and have recommended friends who also stand lose money.0 -
It would be nice to hear any inside information from the 45 Mobile Media Systems staff that lost their jobs last week. Especially those that handled cashback claims.0

SCRIBES:- No need for a list - you won't get enough to add up to £1m that alone the 4-10 that's already been very clearly specified by the administrators - who seem to have done a fantastic job (like it or not!). More importantly it certainly won;t help anyone for these threads to be clogged up with endless posts of how much individuals have lost. In fact, it will merely make things worse, not better. Why depress yourselves? Just try to salvage what you can and move on to the next deal - already got mine. Lol!0

They are not helping me :-( insisting on 9 months rule !0 -
As I said earlier, I would hold fire. With Mobile Connections Vodafone left themselves with credit after helping many people with very good fall-back positions. It hasn't been a week yet and those jumping ship to anything that floats may regret it later. Hopefully it won't be long at all this time, since Vodafone are more organised and (hopefully) will be more sympathetic than any of the other networks were.0
