If you vote no, then A) another Insolvency practictioner will have to be appointed
the staff who are owed all their wages/holiday pay stand even less chance of being paid...
Did anybody notice that amidst the to be expected list of trade/supplier creditors (office supplies, carphoneware house etc) there is also
"Portmerion Potteries Ltd" who are owed 481 quid.. ! That's a lot of office mugs, although I know some people collect Portmerion..
Quite why I don't know, but it tickled me, anyway.
As I've said before it's the same model that banks run on, that we don't all withdraw at the same time...
There's a salutatory lesson here though. I think we've seen the death of 12 months/12 months free.
We all burned twice as bright and therefore twice as short....0 -
I contacted vodafone customer services in late November after reading this thread. I am the account holder, but my 18 year old daughter at university uses the phone. I was told someone would call back with 48 hours, and they rang my daughter and suggested a new 12 month contract at £17.50 commencing 1st Dec. She wanted to check with me first and he guy said he would call at 2pm the next afternoon. However he never called back. Since then between us we have called vodafone 9 times, and each time we call we are told we will receive a call with 48 hours. This is very frustrating as of course we would love to accept this offer. Customer services say there is nothing at all they can do as a different department is dealing with the CNM customers. Rather worryingly, as my daughter is a student, and is often in lectures, she may not be able to take the call if they ring during the day. Can anyone suggest what I should do next. This has been going on for more than 5 weeks now.
CAN ANYONE GIVE ANY ADVICE PLEASE ?0 -
Maybe she could ring them and try giving them authority so speak with you on her behalf when they call back. Not sure they'd do it but worth a try. Other than that all you can do is keep calling and make sure one way or another that she takes the call.0

or ask your daughter to give the phone to you in the meantime and use a pay as you go phone in the mean time.0

Good idea. They won't know it's not the daughter as long as she keeps her wits about her if and when they call. Well done!0

We have already given them authority to speak to either of us and they also have my mobile number, although I suspect they will still ring her. The main problem is that in 5 weeks, and 9 phone calls from me, they haven't rung back !
Thanks for replying though0 -
