  • MM the http link doesn't work and the fact the express mobiles link says under construction I would assume its a hoax. Did the message come from the same number?

If you want to put your mind at rest call Vodafone and ask if they use that number.

Just off the phone with vodaphone and could only get £17.50 a month, normally I would be gutted at missing out on the £5 deal but to be honest I'm so relieved they offered any reduction.

Anyone had any compensation/discount from T - Mobile on this issue? I've managed a meagre £5 off my bill for next 3 months but even that is from my latest call to them not backdated to when company was placed into administration.

They seem alot less helpful than Vodaphone on the issue.

my friend has 2 vodafone contracts.

One bought from CNM (which has gone bust) and another from mobiles2yourdoor (which HAS NOT gone bust).

Vodafone has phoned her on Friday and offered her 17.5 line rental for the remainder of her CNM contract.

They also phoned her today and offered her 17.5 line rental for her Mobiles2yourdoor contract. Strange!

I am so surprised of how easily they can make mistakes like this!

Oh well, now her CNM contract can be regarded as 12 months free :)

Not really - the cnm is now half price rental, but now they have downgraded the m2yd one to half price there will be no cashback at all forthcoming on that one, even though they haven't gone bust.

Why should they offer you more than they are giving to new customers who buy from them direct?

If you are on an 18 month contract and have completed 11 months you can drop your tariff to Flext 20 and still get the fiver discount, bringing your cost to £15 a month as someone else has.

As long as you dont mind getting a lesser allowance.

It looks like Vodafone are the hardest hit by these collapses, and it would not look good for their figures if they suddenly had thousand of customers disconnecting. There is always a method to the madness. ;)

You need to be careful with this coz if you have cashback on M2YD contract this could be made invalid because of the tariff reduction!
Wondering how to have a life & not rack up more debts...

but her tariff hasn't been downgraded. It is still the same.

in the terms and conditions of mobiles2yourdoor it says that bills should be paid (which she will keep paying) and no tariff changes should be done (she didn't change any tariff).

So if Vodafone has applied a discount to her line rental it is a seperate matter and shouldn't affect the contract with m2yd because she is on the same tariff and paying bills on time.

thats what i think unless u see other things in it.

Hi Quentin - Are you saying that Vodafone can see into the near future and M2YD will not have funds to pay cashback's, so they are getting in there in advance....
