Troublesome buyer on Ebay - Accept return??

She is taking the absolute p*** and you need to let ebay know that she is not co-operating with you and you have done more than enough to try and appease her and she can't even meet you half way. Don't let her walk all over you, she is being extremely unreasonable.
Thank you Dee! I agree 100%. Fingers crossed I soon never have to deal with this woman again.0 -

Well, you can make sure of that! You can actually restrict members from bidding on or purchasing your items. So as soon as this is done with, put her on your restricted list. I would also leave her relevant feedback. You can't leave "negative" feedback, but you can still type a response and let sellers know about your experience with her. Good luck and keep us updated on what happens!0 -
OMG! So I sent her a picture of the postage label. She said she couldn't download it. I asked if she would give me her email address so I could send it as a pdf and now;
Hi Im not comfortable giving my email address, as you already have a lot of my other persinal data. Please arrange DHL collection.
I am beyond sick of this.0 -

How did you manage to send her the label last time? I'm not sure if you're allowed to share email addresses on ebay, but at the same time, if you ordered a DHL pick up she'd still need to attach a label to the package. So it's not a very good excuse. Tell her that if she cannot download the picture then there is no way for you to arrange to have it sent back and ask ebay how you are supposed to get a label to her. The only other thing I can think of is telling her to send it back herself and you will re-imburse her but you then run the risk of her picking a very expensive delivery option. I would get ebay's advice as I wouldn't want you taking any wrong steps with this nightmare of a woman!0 -

Don't blame you, if you phone DHL they might be able to do a Saturday collection but booking a normal collection for small 2kg parcel is £20 online but £35 over the phone so a Saturday collection over the phone is going to cost too much.
I'd tell her she has the option of using the label or a weekday collection and that's it.
If she refuses let eBay refund and issue small claims against her.In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0 -
Thanks for your input both!How did you manage to send her the label last time?
I was able to upload it via ebay as part of the returns process but I don't seem to be able to do that now.
I rang eBay and they said they can see she is being very difficult and that they have been messaging her warning that they will have to close in my favour as she is not working with me. So he says there isn't really anything I can do but wait but as we've said assurances from them over the phone often aren't worth the air they're spoken into so I'm going to ring back tomorrow and try and get it closed on the phone. As you say Dee she'd need the DHL label anyway.so a Saturday collection over the phone is going to cost too much.
Yeah I'm just not prepared to spend anymore now that there's been two labels for over £15 unused. Now have to try and get refunds on those.0 -

I sympathise. In my experience both Royal Mail and Collect Plus refunded for unused labels in about 2 working days after I submitted a request.0 -
Just keep on at ebay now- keep phoning explain that you have done everything they asked for and this buyer will not return the item. Point out that buyer has labels and no return has been made so this should be closed in your favour.Thanks for your input both!

6 months ago I won a return case in such a scenario- mine was less than £30 though and buyer just kept making excuses about not returning. He also used the 'can't get to the PO as I am disabled',' label insufficient for weight and size', 'I need a courier to collect at 7pm on a specific day otherwise item won't come back'. In the end after about 9 phone calls to ebay they closed the case in my favour but also refunded the buyer out of their own pocket.
I was very persistent though, I made sure I sounded a little upset when i called and a bit desperate about not knowing what to do . Buyer had left me a negative as well, and when they closed the case they removed that as well.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
