Had DD2s friends over to stay last night. Meant I did a clean up of the dining room of doom which although tidy was far from dust free.

DW and WM on today and S&S in bathrooms. Waiting until they have all gone home before I potter some more.
  • Sorry I've been MIA. Things not great here. DH and I been speaking at length this weekend and basically unless things improve we may separate. Our lives are growing further apart, both geographically due to his work and in terms of choices we are making. If we met as adults now there is no way we would forge a relationship, we are too different.

The only thing that binds us is the children.

I will be back when I feel able. ATB x

  • I'm back! For some reason I can't subscribe to threads on my phone anymore. If I don't subscribe, I don't keep up. So, I need to make sure I get the iPad out every Sunday evening to keep on track for the following week.

House is a total and utter nightmare, weather is rubbish everyone is grumpy:

    Done:
    2xwm (#3 currently swishing)
    Dw running
Bedding hung on line (most dry and bought in no more going out due to weather forecast)
    Lunch made & tidied up
    Kitchen swished
Half way through making a shepherds pie

    To do:
    Conquer mount washmore
    Hang all wet washing up
    Put all dry stuff away
    Finish shepherd's pie
    Empty dw
Take bag of stuff upstairs and put stuff away
    Meal plan
    Shopping list
Sort car out (rubbish, stuff in boot etc)
    Recycling out
    Fill cat's water bowl
    Sort through Sunday school box
    Stuff up to loft
    Shredding
Bags of shredded stuff out of loft and ready for disposal

    There will be more.

    Hugs to everyone.

    Wish.

  • Last night's gig was...OK.

Got in at about 3.15am, bed at 4, asleep around 4.30, alarm went off for today's gig at 11.

Himself was very accommodating when I said I would rather stay at home. So I'm on the settee, drinking coffee & eating a muffin with the Idiot Cat is snuggled up next to me.

    My plan for the next 8-10 hours is therefore;

    Wash work clothes.
Possibly go and buy some more food.
    Eat more food.
    Bath and bed.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Dryer on the fritz and as it’s rained for three days I’ve had nothing on the line so I have not done any washing.. 3 days.. no laundry done.. 10 people... need i elaborate??

Anyway.. 1 load out blowing, 2 loads in and about 4 to get through.

Dryer on the fritz so the heated aired is drying the tiny things.. I laid a towel over the bars and laid everything out.. I was going to take it to my mothers but I am lazy!

Dw on.. another 2 loads needed today at least.

I’m moving twinkles clothes to her new chest of drawers and filling her current one with the item I wear all the time.. and finding more which doesn’t fit.. FLING!!

I need to find my to do list and I am buying my new shower today because one way or another it IS going in that bathroom!!

Back in a bit.. having a loo break but done now and all hell is breaking loose downstairs!! TTFN

    Sorry ATB :(

The washing all dried before we had some rain this afternoon. Still a cold wind. Apart from that I've just cooked lunch and mooched about. GP and Superbike season now as well as cycling so television is out of bounds for me! Good job I've got this computer.

I'm just coming up for air - if the box had a lid it would now close :D I'm listening to Keep It Country on the tv (Freeview Channel 87 - if anyone hasn't discovered it yet and likes that type of music. Both Dad and I had to rescan channels to pick it up though) and working through one piece of paper at a time : file, shred or bin. Filing system seems to be working, recycling bin is filling up nicely and I expect the shredding pile to grow faster the further down the box I go.

Three loads of washing dried outside, brought in, folded and piled on the chair back - which was in the sun earlier :) Mr C00p visited for a few bits to tide us over until Mr T delivers tomorrow. F1 Grand Prix highlights savoured.

I'm not throwing the towel in just yet: seconds out. Round 2 :D
