I'm lounging around for a while. Himself got in around 1.30am from rehearsal and I hadn't quite gone to sleep, so got up for another hour before crawling back into bed. He properly noticed that I'd done a few bits, too. If he's noticing them, hopefully it's sinking in a bit that 20 to 40 mins is a lot less effort than waiting until it's a six hour job (or more).
=ust before I went to bed the first time, I quickly sprayed the loo and sink and made sure they were all clean, folded the towels up and, where I managed to drop a wet flannel on the floor, kicked it about a bit so that looked clean as well.
So I'm going to bagsy a bath before he does.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
I’m here in a roundabout way. I’ve just dropped DD at the stables so I have an hour or so waiting time to put to good use.
Before I came out I did manage to get 2 loads washed and hung up, HHI and sorted out clean clothes and airing cupboard. I’ve also been putting away as I found abandoned items - drives me spare. The Valli mantra needs reminding again.
DH went shopping yesterday with a really detailed list (in shop order, clearly marked what was needed and what he could give up on etc etc). Today I have had to find homes for items not in the list and also added back other things to the list for me to get next week. After 30 years you would think he would learn.
Kaz - also desperately want to get out to the greenhouse but it’s still so windy outside that I’m also keeping well away.0 -
Hello
OH up at silly o'clock to watch the F1 qually.
We have been for a walk around the local auction and garden centre, didn't buy anything but got our steps up.
Rugby is now starting.............
I some good planting ideas from garden centre, I think I already have the bit I need so I'll wait for the wind to drop over the next few days and venture out into the garden.
Fayolle, I agree, OH has banned me for now being anywhere near the green house, the wind here is very strong currently. But I think I have annoyed him chatting about how much I want to clean it inside and outside!!Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Morning all. Hope you're all ok. It's very quiet on here.
Up early as the dogs don't know it's Sunday.
Not a lot of flying going on, just the dailies and essentials. Yesterday was a lovely relaxing day in the end and I did fit in a decent dog walk in between the rain.
Today I am meeting friends for Sunday lunch and need to walk the dogs first. Not sure what else I'll get done.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Morning
I'm up and dressed - my brain knows it's Sunday... but it doesn't care
Where is everyone?
Yesterday I WUDUPA x 2 and WM x 3 - as well as made the bed, put out the recycling, fed the birds, and cleared out a file I set up 2016/2017 ready to go through a pile of paperwork today. I've been inspired by a section of Dejunk Your Life(again
). Hoping that this time I maintain the system :rotfl:
I'm going to check the weather forecast and then WM x 1 is going in rain or shine... but it would be nice to be able to hang out
Hope you are all ok? Keep on swimming little fishies

I've made the bed, put out the rubbish and recycling, fed the birds, set WM swishing - breezy with sunny intervals
, cleared out my emails AND ordered a coat stand, shoe rack, sewing machine, a sewing for beginners book, glasses to reduce glare when driving at night, and Easter cards. Mr T will deliver Easter eggs with groceries tomorrow.
Once the coats are off the table /chairs and the shoes are off the floor the dining end of the kitchen will be much improved. The pile of mending can be addressed - DS fights with seams a lotand I can't see well enough to hand stitch black on black/ white on white any more
Ditto driving at night. And there is an empty cupboard in the kitchen where I can store the Easter eggs until next month - no last minute egg shop for me this year :T
That's a lot of 'gonna do's done :T
Hardly any pots to wash (am I in the right house? :rotfl:) but they will be done. And two cardboard boxes to demolish and recycle.
All go, innit?

I've done the dailies and walked the dogs, posting a letter en route. Have also bleached the kitchen sink and s&sd the downstairs loo. Also wanted to clean in bathroom but I've run out of time now as I've got to go out. Indoor plants also watered.
Catch up later.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
I'm still here but relapsed into lurkdom again
I've got washing blowing out in the wind, I hope the rain stays away for a few hours. The wind is perishing again. We went out for a walk but were glad to get home again.
Washed a remote this morning which was apparently in DH's fleece pocket (why?) but luckily only for a minute before I heard it bumping and stopped the machine. My fault for washing it I was told but as I told him I was taking it to wash I think it was his fault for not telling me there was a remote in the pocket! Anyway I think it's OK! I do the washing but I don't check other people's pockets. Not every job is mine. Only 99% of them......0 -
Just about to put on my fleece and hang out the second load of washing. It's glorious out there, but, like you say Pollybear, that wind is perishing.
Done a laundry shuffle so DS will have dried and aired clothes to take with him to GF's tonight ready for work tomorrow.
I have a large box of paperwork which I am going to wade through today. Well I'll start today, when I'll reach the bottom is anyone's guess. But every piece of paper filed / shredded or binned in one less chez Round :T
Happy Sunday everyone.
Peace be with you.
