    Morning all.

Just had a quick catch up of the Fred for the last couple of days. ((Hugs)) to Narc0 and dancemum. Well done to Madam Mim.

I’ve been stupid busy (work) for the past couple of days, so just the dailies done at a pinch. It’s job 2 today (also out of control busy) and then I have to pick DD up from a revision session. She’s working so hard for GCSEs but putting herself under just as much pressure as school is. Roll on the middle of June.
I have 30 minutes now before I have to be out of the house. I’m going to change DD’s bedding so that I run wm later then work out what we can have for dinner as there is no meal plan and the fridge is pretty much bare.
Stay safe all if you have anything like the high winds that we have.

Twinkle told me off today.. I sorted her clothes out so they all were put away and she told me off because she thought I had binned all her clothes, I had to show her they were now in her drawers because she was refusing to go to bed!!
    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I have been working most of this week so far - have got a meeting after Toddler Group this afternoon, for both of which I have prepared a whole raft of things.
A few more seeds planted :)
House is clean downstairs and not too bad upstairs. DH finally put the hoover away without me asking :)

My car has to go in for its service and MOT tomorrow

    Congratulations, Madam Min :T

More (((hugs))) to Narc0, dancemum, Froddy, pigpen, YL, ATB, Fayolle's DD and anyone else in need :grouphug:

Will catch up when I can xx

Quiet on here today, sounds like everyone is pretty busy with all sorts, including lots of nurses and carers by the sound of things.
    - started latest report
    - went to Ald! while Mr N was visiting MIL and helping physio. Went very well apparently, she walked about 6 feet with their help and a zimmer - about twice what she did last time. They have put back her discharge date by at least a week, for which we are rather thankful. Today she was fairly lucid, after a difficult day yesterday. This evening she was also fairly ok. I took in her nail varnish and did her nails, which she seemed to like.
    - Mr N and I did a bit more cleaning of MIL's flat. Trying to get rid of empty shampoo bottles etc, consolidate duplicate make-up/cleaning supplies and general "stuff" etc while not making it too obvious. Although she generally puts stuff down somewhere different each time and loses a lot, she'd notice if we did too much tidying and flinging. Shower drain is definitely not working properly so Mr N rang maintenance and they are sending a plumber on Monday week!!! Chucked out a lot of out of date otc medication e.g. Nurofen.
    - Rang insurance company to find out what evidence we need to cancel our trip. Usual gibble and told to download the form off the web site and fill in what we can - the reason we rang them is because we looked at the form and seemed to be designed for wanting to cancel a holiday because of our own health. We don't see why we should list her entire health history for the last 5 years when she is in hospital for a broken hip!!! It's not like she makes a habit of it.
    - emailed a potential new personal trainer to continue the rehab on my shoulder, my nice lady is leaving. Luckily there is a special offer on which is a relief as it's jolly expensive, but I just want one more course to better plan what my silly ageing body is capable of. As I speak, my knee is still swollen from apparently nothing.
    - watered greenhouse seeds
    - filled bird feeders
    - filled car with petrol

    Good morning
I really meant to get back on yesterday afternoon but yet another day ran away with me. However I did shift myself in between getting home and getting dinner on the table. As it was still light I whisked the vacuum cleaner around the downstairs and ..... drum roll please.... cleaned the kitchen floor. :eek:I’m sure it was a waste of time but at least I know that I did it.
A friend popped in later to asked me to help her out with a couple of day’s volunteering. Why is it so hard to say no? Of course I said yes...
Today is another full day out of the house. Although with the sound of the wind and the lashing rain, I would far rather just hunker down here.
Stay safe and have a good Friday everyone. Lots of hugs all round. I hope you are ok, Mrs MP.

Mine too, Narc0 :( - I am ignoring it and hoping it will go away.

Toddler Group was great fun yesterday, with a new record number of children :) The sand tray was extremely popular, and, thanks to the big decorating sheet that I had taken with me, we only got about a cupful of sand on the church floor, which was all swept up in no time ;) However, the separate discussion meeting afterwards resulted in having to arrange a further meeting this morning, so that there is something to lay before the church council next week in my absence :(

    Today's plan includes
    - get the car to its MOT
    - attend the extra meeting
    - collect 2 parcels from the PO
    - buy coffee from Mr W (cheaper than Mr S :money: for the brand I can drink without getting migraines )
    - S&S kitchen and bathroom
    - plant more seeds
    - get my hair cut
    - hopefully collect car
    - walk Rosie
    - choir practice
    - weekly shop at Mr Al

Hope everyone's week ends better than it began xx

I'm still here Narco enjoying my enforced leave...NOT!!!

I've decluttered a couple of cups of tea and two bananas. Also made the bed, put the breakfast things away after washing up, fed the birds and tidied up the sofa bits.

I've got DH at home now for a week on holiday from work. So it's probably a good thing I'm not at work as we can now go out and about next week.

Mrs MP hope you are ok honey.

    Hugs xx

Yes, that's exactly my policy. Now and again I slap a bit of Ibuprofen gel or a cold pad on it.

Just made myself a :coffee: and can't believe where the time has gone. So far all I've achieved is:
    - wudupa
    - one load through DW and put away
    - paid credit card
    - wrote to an association to enquire why they are offering training in 2 weeks time on a new report format which is currently in the 'consultation' phase, with all our comments having to be in by today. Bit like announcing election results before the vote!
    - done a bit more of a report but not as much as I'd hoped
    - determined to monitor my food intake on mfp again and pleased to note it is easier to do than when I last used it.
    - caught up with emails and pretty much with 'to do' list.

Happily my step-sis is home from hospital and doing ok.
