Well done, Babs!
Really sorry to hear your news ASB/ATB. I hope you both find your way back to each other.
I went to the second of two sewing workshops today to learn how to make tailored trousers. I've made three toiles so far, and with one more adjustment I think I've got a pattern I can use. Not sure if I'm going to have time to do it this week, though.
I'll need to spend some time tidying and sparkling the house this week because it's sort of okay but I've been so busy I need to go back to doing the three most urgent things in each room to get back on top of it. I think I've sorted out the muddles created by other people, which took quite a bit of doing, so I should start the week on an even keel. I'm very tired this evening but I've mostly caught up on the urgent reading I needed to do, and that's a start.Better is good enough.0 -
Washing just finishing, waiting for the 'click' to put it all on the clothes horse.
Small bit of washing up done, stuff on the drainer all put away.
Recycling hurled into the bins. Found a couple of empty containers Himself hadn't got around to throwing out.
Squirted cleaner on the bathroom floor, so must go and deal with that.
Going to have to do an online order. The fridge is empty other than squashes, milk and butter. And I don't fancy existing upon two packets of salt and vinegar crisps. It's still a week until payday (sigh).
Popped to the shop to get something for tomorrow, couldn't carry any more, as I got a YS salad meal thing, YS potatoes, YS halloumi,a couple of crusty rolls to shove a banana in, some cereal, yoghurts and kitchen roll.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -

Sorry to hear that atb.
One load washing on before church, started to snow as I walked home but managed to get it in before it turned to rain.
1 load through dw.
Made a cake for when Mr N and BIL came back from hospital.
Made dinner with a new recipe from Tesc0 magazine: cauliflower pilaf, which was ok.
Done nothing else much other than slobbed, I feel really drained. Think the thought of having an evening off as BIL hospital visiting has sapped any energy. Also very down as my knee is sore and swollen; did Body Balance yesterday and couldn't kneel on it as too painful. Almost certainly bursitis. Very disheartening now my shoulder is better. Still, there are worse things to have, but I'm on the sofa with a cold pack.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
