Hi
OMG I'm freezing, our office heating is broken and it is 17 degrees inside, apparently if you factor in the cold air blowing through the vents (wind chill) is 14 degrees
I walked to work (it was warmer outside)
I brought lunch and a drink with me (and snacks)
Make my son some pancakes for breakfast - fluffy American style
2 buffets already delivered by my hubby
I brought 3 more ebays to post but post office was closed - too early
popped to the bank to pick up cash as have to catch bus to meeting later
moved some money around to cover DDs
chased very overdue payment
off to make a cup of tea before my hands freeze - have a good and warm day all

Evening Campers,
Hope all is well in your MSE worlds. A few efforts from me today:
*An Economy 7 overnight wash sorted out the last of this week's laundry & it all blew dry outside for free.
*Made Cranks mushroom stroganoff - a recipe I used to make a lot & then kept forgetting about. Mr f said he'd like to eat it more often, which suits me, as the only ingredient we'd usually have to buy in for it is mushrooms.
*Lots of gardening but as it was very resourceful gardening, I shall save that for my dfw diary update.
*Might knit if the co-codamol I've just had to resort to helps my poorly hand, as would like this project completed & popped away in the presents box.
*Made tomorrow's packed lunch.
A better night's sleep at least.... I do seem to sleep better if I read before bed instead of anything screen-related & if I have a bedroom window at least cracked open. Forgetting & going to bed with it shut invariably causes a foggy head the next day at best & a thudding headache at worst.
Love to all,

Evening all
Strange day today, sunny this morning and cold and raining this afternoon. The dog was not amused when it came to walkies time :rotfl:
Anyway, today I have:
Folded dry washing from airer and put away
Pegged another load outside, which dried a fair bit before it started to rain. Must put that on the airer in a minute.
Answered a(nother) daft question from an annoying ebay bidder. Strongly suggested she check out the very helpful sizing guide on the brand's web site, because I actually don't know if said item will fit her!
Posted an ebay parcel
Took some small items to sales unit - no car today as OH went out, so walked into town and back - free exercise
Bought a few small items in town - things like Stardrops and stock cubes are so much cheaper in Poundstretcher than in the supermarkets!
All spends recorded in spending diary / spreadsheet / business book as appropriate
Walked dog x 2, even though the second walk was very short on account of the dog being unable to walk in the rain (in his view anyway), I walked lots of steps when all added up!
Jacket potatoes and salad for dinner, as OH's lunch out sounded pretty unhealthy! Used some of the microgreens I have grown in the salad. Must sow some more tomorrow. We did have blackberry and apple crumble for pudding though0 -

Managed to reconcile my credit card :j
Check banking
Mop as I didn't manage that yesterday
Hot drink for commute, hope traffic is kind
Packed lunches all round
Washing free day :T
Triage fridge - need to dry off some courgettes this evening if they don't form part of my dinner, may juggle things around to use them up
Have a good day everyone. Purps.
Still haven't moped - whoops. Totally forgot it was pancake day until small reminded me. Whipped up batch for pud. 2 left over will go in freezer for another daycommute was very kind too
Refund arrived that I chased last week so that's good. Will move to savings. Also made tomorrow nights tea. Used an onion and a couple of bendy parsnips to use up0 -
Evening all :hello:
Really quick check in from me as I'm busy. Thanks so much for all of the kind words - they mean an awful lot to me. I'm tired again after another night of being up half a dozen times during the night, and work was a bit rubbish again.
However, went out to a friend's house for dinner after work, which was lovely, and am not long since home. I've had a shower and am ready for Holby and Shetland. And hopefully some more sleep.
nsd - in fact, made some money with an extra tutoring session. Not giving up

Well I have now paid off 2.5 percent of my debt since January. Every little helps. Paying every bill every month, that is the only way I can start this, no 0% balance transfers, no messing about. I have paid off first grand £1000 since January and am just working hard for the magic to continue. And yes it is the little things I am doing now - I have pretty much done all of the big things. :-) Happy Tuesday evening. XXIsa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

that's fantastic ditty! :T keep plodding and you will get there. We are all testament to the keeping on keeping on approach on this thread. Many of us regulars are now debt free and after the big steps it was the little steps that paid off. £1000 in 2 months is phenomenal :money:DF as at 30/12/16
