Date night went well. We survived throwing axes, which is a bonus. She had paid for the tickets (which was £40!!) and I paid for dinner and drinks which game to £50ish, so no NSD but I had a great night.
Today should be a NSD, taking me to a shockingly bad 9 and if I'm organised, I'll get another over the weekend. Ah well, I knew it was going to be a busy one. April will be different!!0 -
Just a quick update from me. Broke my 17 days no drinking streak and went out for dinner and drinks. Got quite tiddly as you can imagine because my tolerance was down. I should have only had 2 drinks but ended up doing that and then sharing a bottle of wine. on NSD 14 from Wednesday.
Another result of the alcohol intake was that I ended up paying for the whole dinner. Was not too bad 40 euros for 2 but the dinner itself was not worth it at all. I could have done better myself at home.
My fave restaurant here serves pupusas (a food from El Salvador) and meal for 2 comes to around 25 euros for 2 poeple withe drinks. I'm going to stick to what I know for now.
So that's my budget gone for the weekend, but no plans really I can't imagine I'll spend anything much. Going to a museum with a friend tomorrow but she owes me some money so she can buy if we have any drinks.
Thanks for the great quote apple and for offering to run april dolly

Today I am grateful for birdsong, for chatting with dd, for smooth travel, for travelling through some beautiful countryside, for a fine time with mum, for good finds in the ch shops, for a catch-up with an old friend, for a peaceful evening, for a gorgeous sunset.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0
