Morning all,
SFD yesterday on vaccinating one dog and chippy tea!
I read this as vacuuming the dog :rotfl:
Quick check in to report NSD 13 yesterday. Almost there. Saw another cockroach this morning and my "allergy" seems to be worse (is it all in my head??)
My holiday fund has taken a bit of a battering as I have booked flights to UK for a wedding, a short trip to a town called Cuenca near Madrid for Easter break and flight to Menorca for September! Flights were all fairly cheap so not complaining. And got a hotel room for 70 euros for 2 nights between 2 people in cuenca, so all quite bargainous.
Have a great day turtlesStudent loan £5849

I know, right?! And of all places, we're going to an axe throwing place. I know it sounds weird but we both seem to be into trying new things.
From an MSE front, I paid for our first date, which was admittedly just drinks and this time she was adamant that she paid for this. I reluctantly accepted. I still have this incredible urge to pay for things, especially at this early stage. But this was the start of my money problems all those years ago, so I need to re-think my mindset.0 -
Happy Birthday Glenda.
Enjoy your date speky, what on earth is axe throwing?
Had a small spend yesterday, used up some loose change on a £1 pack of the Co-op's lovely crisps which I shared ith DH.
Tea last night was hm chilli which both children refused to eat (I will be so happy when feeding those two is no longer my responsibility), tonight it is vegan cottage pie with some extra for the freezer, lunch is a bagel with chutney, spinach and cheese.
Have cycled this morning and am now showered with clean hair and am ready to take on the day. Will be dog walking, cleaning and job hunting.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Small-ish spend (<£15) at Tesc0 this morning - only thing bought not on list was a YS pork joint for £1.88 which I'm planning on doing as pulled pork over the Easter hols. ALso had to get some hutch spray from pet shop for g-pigs. Came home, put shopping away and was out in garden painting more fence before 10am Used up another whole tub of fence paint, so that's another thing out of the garage :T Just having a cuppa and catch up on here and then I'm off for a shower and then might tackle some more paperwork.

Himself was at doctor's today having blood tests. Nothing major and will probably confirm something we already know. So whilst he was out I did a bit of cleaning and tidying.
Almost finished yesterday's soup for lunch ('ll have the rest tomorrow) and we're having fish, roasted tomatoes. potatoes and green beans for dinner. All already in.
Apart from that not a lot happening here. Trying to follow what's happening with Brexit but I must confess I don't have a clue what's going on now,Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -

A pacing day - got myself ready in slow stages, did a few bits in the house and used the little bus to get myself and the walker to the doctor's. Good appointment, I think. Chest x-ray had shown signs of infection, so more antibiotics and a repeat x-ray in 6 weeks.
Blood tests were fine (was worried about my somewhat chaotic eating habits whilst I've been ill) except my white blood cell count is all over the place but mostly high, showing inflammation (or more infection). So another urine test and pages of blood tests - being tested for rheumatoid arthritis (hip and shoulder were other type) and other things to find the source of my problems.
Foot may be flat feet (I asked). Doctor wants me to see a podiatrist who will take a mould of my foot, he also asked about seeing the physiotherapist about it. Did the sample then went to the vampires. When they open the top drawer and pull out a handful of sample vials, then go in the next drawer down for 2 more kinds and you're thinking 'she's going to have to restock that afterwards'.
Went for prescription then caught the bus home and no plans to do anything else today.
Today I am grateful that the doctor did not make me go into hospital, that I haven't yet definitely got anything else (hoping it's something that can be treated when they find out what it is as the constant not wellness and tiredness are wearing me out), for my doctor being thorough (he has mentioned mum's myaesthenia gravis as some of my symptoms mimic hers). Will have to wait 3 weeks as these are specialised tests. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -
Today I am grateful for lots of daylight, for catching up with a colleague at work, for another good parents' evening, for getting home at a reasonable time, for sewing some more seeds, for a good chat with dh, for finding more things for the ch shop, for a good book, for a neighbour taking our washing to do when the machine failed to spin and we ended up with a soggy mush of clothes.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0
